The only relevant thing about cloud storage would be their uptime, in which DropBox is pretty good at just like all the other cloud providers
As far as security is concerned, you should always encrypt your shit yourself

I admit I was vague, but I meant no real alternative that actually matter
DropBox, Drive, Outlook -- they all do the job of
a. storing your shit on the cloud
b. literally nothing else
not mentioned: c. security, which you should again do manually by TrueCrypt or VeraCrypt complete with long, good passphrases and hidden partitions

resilio and syncthing are end to end ecrypted (if you believe resilio isnt snooping). boxcryptor/cryptomator and you dont have to trust any service.
