Invest in your own secure, in-house server. Invest your time to learn how to build it properly, invest in enough mass storage and on-hand replacement HDDs to build a large, redundant RAID.
You should be able to construct said server with at least 20 terabytes capacity that can withstand the simultaneous loss of 2 or 3 HDDs and still rebuild.
Do you need more than 20 TB of storage? Build two of them with 30 TB storage each.
Don't trust cloud storage for the type of archive you seem to want to preserve against the coming trumpocalypse.
Make sure they are in climate controlled rooms, underground and shielded against solar flares with solar panel powered UPS backup.
Once you get the first server built, then worry about uploading the most critical data (that won't get you arrested) to some sort of massive cloud storage.

how do you go about making such a backup and how to you make it work offline? there would probably be forums id be interested in scraping but it always seems like you end up with everything not working properly.
I remember different programming communities for flash and other basic languages, as well as all kinds of tutorials for virtually any kind of digital art whether 2d or 3d, from when I was in middle school back in 08 seemed to get harder to find, until I just gave up. I think it's mainly from those websites shutting down and some kind of perceived relevance to algorithms that prioritize more recent things.
