WebKit Nightly is open source, isn't it? Since Aqua isn't, however, I don't think we'll see it on Linux any time soon.

What are you guys using on mobile? I'm using CM browser at the moment and it's pretty solid. No real issues.

Nightly firefox

F-droid chromium installer

>pale moon on autism tier
Again, remove it.
It's a browser that has new features added constantly, and actually deserves to be called a fork of Firefox.

>no links

Seamonkey master race.

Cyberfox

This is literally the only macro I've seen on Sup Forums that hasn't oozed with autism. Thank you, OP.

I unironically use pale moon.

I use Firefox because of TreeStyleTabs but I am so fucking sick of memory leaks and it taking its sweet as time to launch. But I can't browse with horizontal tabs anymore. It just feels so wrong.

>people who use these are so detached from society that they don't care about images or formatting

So... there are a few limited uses for a browser like this. My router... it has an http server that is only accessible from within the internal network. If I want to manage things like port forwarding, I have to do so from that http server. Typically, I'd do that from a web browser, but say I'm away from home. Maybe I want to open up a new server on my Raspberry Pi and make it visible to the outside. I might SSH into the Pi, use Lynx to communicate with the router's web interface, and forward the port to the Pi.

Not something you should use on an every day basis, but I'm sure there might be a few other niche uses for the tool.

For everyday usage I use Firefox on Linux. Doesn't really give me a lot of trouble.

about:memory

You can manually tell it to run its garbage collector.

i use baidu browser, pretty good imo

Lightning from F-Droid.

Tuga Browser

Do you even inverted grayscale?

Naked Browser

I switched to UNGOOGLED Chromium.

It's much faster than my version of Firefox (build 42 or whatever the fuck i last updated) but opening task manager and finding like 8~ instances of Chromium is a little concerning.

Pyrone

>using firefox 12 versions behind

>opera after 12.2
Why???
Have you ene tried???

In which tier would be Epic Browser?

I use Google Chrome Canary

It's actually a decent feature for modern pc. If you've got a toaster, chromium isn't the way to go but other than that it's great for performance.

I like vivaldi because you have the option to use vertical tabs, but it also crashes.

Agreed, used it for a while and had 0 issues with it.

Can someone tell me how Chromium is different from Chrome?

Tmux + emacs + webkit

>vivaldi will never get above 0.01% market share
It's at 0.03%, actually, even above SeaMonkey.

>comet cursor
kek

>Chinkmaster browser
Enjoy having all your gay furry porn metadata being sent to the Chinese government and the highest bidder

Tuga or bust

Or the fork of it called JumpGo.

Icecat. It works.

You are all 100% plebian
Habit Browser, the best Android browser

>Sleipnir is too obscure even for this fairly extensive list

as expected of the absolutely weirdest browser with the best font rendering

where's my lynx and arachne

anyone actually use safari tech preview? it doesn't seem to be different from normal safari in any appreciable way

Does anyone have a good recommendation for an iOS browser? Currently using dolphin to better browse, but now I feel ashamed.

I already am using the best browser

every time I've switched from chrome, I ultimately go back
do I have Stockholm syndrome?

What is chromium? Do I have autism?

...

>no webkit nightly

webkit.org/downloads/#nightly

Redpill me on chromium, /gee/

From cursory research it only contacts Google servers for updates and to check your DNS isn't comprised. That seems reasonable and any good browser would do those. Why does Sup Forums think it isn't good for privacy?

Waterfox and Cyberfox here. I use Cyberfox for daily email normie shit and Waterfox for browsing here.

Didnt realize that Cyberfox wasn't slow, it was adblock plus slowing load times. Felt like such a retard for not switching to origin sooner

>Operating system Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Windows Phone
>License Freeware
LOL
closed source

go use torch or something, baidu browoser

Where's Yandex, UC and 360?

>iridium
>cutting edge
What the fuck?

yes to both

Current Aurora seems to have eliminated a lot of that. Tweetdeck and https everywhere are actually usable under Firefox now.

> to the Chinese government and the most connected bidder
fixed that

>Yandex
that's my browser of choice on Linux. it has DNS encryption and DNS-poisoning detection built in. Plus it stores shit enceypted in Russia so my gov/legal system can't get to my data.

If you use anything by Google, you're a fucking idiot. Google fucked John Carmack and revealed all his searches + email to investigators and he got fucked.

>newtab stops working for vimperator on firefox

>Plus it stores shit enceypted in Russia
AFAIK Yandex is in Netherlands

>70% of computer usage is on the browser

Maybe for retards.

>Google fucked John Carmack and revealed all his searches + email to investigators and he got fucked.

[citation needed]

>Yandex
in a limbo between hopeless, botnet and good tiers
>UC and 360
total fucking scam tier, the first is infested with ads, the second is literally malware

i'd like to see some yandex and uc features in normal browsers though, for example UC is great at night browsing, much better than those half-assed userstyles

also there's MIUI browser for lagdroid, it's based on UC, but doesn't have ads, so it's quite fine. The problem is, it only runs on MIUI which is a bloated and bugged botnet itself.

k m'lads
which browser should I switch to?
is Opera ok?

You need to make a new list without any pointless privacy shit. Chrome deserves to be at least excellent tier.

It's a chromium frontend just like almost everything else these days.

Chrome belongs in the botnet tier where it is.

I don't mind as long as it's not botnet

If it's chromium it's inherently botnet. Unless it's been degoogled like iridium.

how do I make the rendering in newer chromium-based browsers non-crappy in windows?

they are using direct2d which makes everything look like crap. There was a flag to turn it off, now it's gone.

The problem with chromium is not the botnet. The problem is that they force their shit too aggressively. Profiles, address line autofilling etc, with no way to turn it off.

dolphin

wait lunascape is bad.......

Nothing would make me happier than chromecast functionality available for other browsers.

read the court docs. he searched on how to erase hard disk on the day he received the subpoena from courts. and he actually destroyed evidence.

google searches is what fucked him.... and now he has $150mil to pay.

>AFAIK Yandex is in Netherlands
Def Russia. I double-checked. See where this IP is geolocated to: 213.180.204.25

I wouldn't use anything that's based in Netherlands, Germany or Switzerland. They all cooperate with NSA/FBI and US courts.

>I am unable to use google

Aurora was crashing daily a cca. year ago... did fix that?

Been solid as a rock for me so far. Even on heavy JS sites vanilla FF chokes on. Think they've finally got this multi process thing figured out.

They might have servers in russia according to russian law, but the company itself is netherlands-based (they migrated from russia long ago due to political uncertainty and corruption), so they probably have to comply with their laws too. Not a lawyer so not sure what is right, it's probably in a huge grey area.

>lynx
considering the fact that any other browser would take up 300MB of RAM to browse wikipedia, lynx is a very sensible choice for specific use cases. for instance, I use it to watch youtube without running any non-free javascript - simply define mpv as a link handler for youtube links. much, much faster and less resource intensive than watching or even browsing youtube in a graphical browser and doesn't run any JS

he means links the browser (similar to lynx)
I'm a little more upset about no surf

> no dillo
why even live

>Dillo
>WindowMaker
Aesthetic as Fuck

that's the same tax-evasion bullshit that Google does with Irish law etc.

All the email is located in Russia and is under Russian laws. I checked jurisdiction when I signed up. I also occasionally check where my mail client is connecting to. It was Russian IP every time I checked.

I used to have an email based in Switzerland but Swiss started to cooperate heavily with the US and singed a bunch of secret agreement and this public one:

silicon.co.uk/security/swiss-us-privacy-shield-eu-202995

Switzerland is now compromised and don't use anything based in Switzerland. That includes Protonmail as they're not excluded from Swiss law.

Swiss also approved this:
jurist.org/paperchase/2016/09/switzerland-voters-approve-new-surveillance-law.php

Swiss email hosting is kill. If you use it, don't feel like it's safe.

Germany was never NSA-proof (they cooperate with NSA as Snowden showed) and FBI routinely gets warrants approved in Germany and the rest of the EU... so those are not options either.

Real options are either Russia or China. Due to great firewall of China, it's best to use Russian services.

UC Browser.
Why not, my personal data is useless for the chinks anyway.

lynx

it cures cancer

I just moved from vanilla firefox to firefox nightly

Botnet and total scam.

You do realize you are proving his point?

how does wanting a more comfy way to watch jewtube make me a lonely manchild detached from society?

>god tier
>Preview Channel

F-Firefox desu

Use Firefox now or you won't have a choice later.

>Milo
>Prager "University"

and that's just the stuff I /didn't/ comment out...

What's wrong with midori?

idk why he has a problem with is, the whole premise of his chart is retarded. midori was fairly decent when i toyed around, aside from crashing every so often.

It crashes.

webkit nightly? The fuck?

Does that have webbum support? I use macOS

kek

I would be unionically using it if it had at least basic javascript. Fuck chro*fox bloatlords.

> these browsers are modern yet will never get above 0.01% marketshare
what kind of argument is this? do you choose your software based on how much people use it?

"No."

>Makes a "beautiful" Linux distro
>Includes a shitty browser
