>"Hey, user, can I borrow your usb stick?"
>"u-u-uh ok.. sure..."
>user's mind: "Sigh, why can't these neanderthals call it by it's real name, a Universal serial bus storage device with 32768 Megabytes of memory (4096 Kilobytes Reserved) which runs a FAT32 Microsoft-developed file system? What a dumb normie LMAO"
>"A-user why the FUCK are there pictures of naked humanoid foxes on here!?"
>user: "..."

This, they're pretty comfy

Sandisk Extreme Pro 64gb. Best redpilled USB. Don't format to NFTS. It'll fuck it the read/write speeds.

Seconding this.

whatever stick I bought 8 years ago

>USB sticks
>2016
Use the cloud you geezers. Next you're going to say you download music instead of streaming it.

I'll do that once ISPs stop being Jews with internet speeds.
>tfw only offered 10Mb/s

A microSD usb reader and the microSD out of my phone?

Maybe if you didn't live in a third world country your internet speed wouldn't suck

Please nuke the US's ISP companies pls

Some 8GB piece of shit which lost its case a long time ago and so is wrapped in electrical tape. Oh and the connector doesn't have that metal shroud, just the thin board with four exposed contacts.

Nokia N900 32GB space for files

>Only %60 of the population is white
>That implies %40 niggers
>Implying US is not a 3rd world country

>2017
>he doesn't use floppy's
I shiggy

i have one as a keychain
it's small and light, i don't remember the brand

Okay, dongle bongle then.

One that I found on the ground.

>not running an SSD in a USB-C enclosure

are thex exFAT?

you mean my zip diskette

Got myself one of these a while back for holding some portable tools/programs. Read/write speeds are shit for USB 2.0 (the fact that it's formatted in NTFS probably doesn't help) but I like how sturdy it feels, and it can apparently take a bit of a beating.

Xiaomi, if they ever make one.

I got a desk lamp, LED bulb, phone, tablet, laptop and humidifier from those guys. So fucking amazing.

Get the pen and road bike while you're waiting

Can you partition a usb to have a linux distro on one half and the other for data, or even for two different distros?

Can confirm you can do a ditro and data. I'm not really sure about two distros but I don't think you can do it just because I doubt windows allows a boot manager for a USB boot, but correct me if I'm wrong.

USB stick is fine

the worst is when people call them memory sticks lmao

>not universal serial bus compliant electronic mass storage device with 32768 megabytes of mlc NAND memory(4096 reserved) formatted in extended FAT(ExFAT)

>still using USB storage

>goto

>NSABox
>FBIbox

>putting your child porn on the cloud is pretty dumb.

What's the best dual USB c & 3.0 drive?

>not hosting your own cloud storage

who doesn't have a card reader these days?

I was implying copyright material.

these new lexars are pretty dope

microusb, type c and lightning versions

otg drives, and they also work as charging/data cables

i carry an otg/usb card reader and one of those chinese metal boxes filled with microsd cards, but i also have a handful of usb drives with me

>sparkleshare
>thinks he has the right to greentext at anyone
HA!

i heard theyre not that good for storing and transferring files. can you elaborate on them?

whichever one of the dozen or so I have lying around that I find first when I go looking

Any particular way you go about setting that up?

On the two distros note, wouldn't grub detect the distros and allow you to select one?

I get a few free USB drives from stuff like industry events, and a few of the drives have a single-chip design. You just pry apart the drive, pull out the single chip (about the size of a MicroSD card), cut out a piece of its plastic holder so it's thick enough to stay in a USB port, and superglue them together. Then you have a USB drive the size of a MicroSD card.

I just like the way they look.

im less picky with usb since it is a pretty mature solid state technology

as long as its a name brand

with sdcards im more picky

sandisk > samsung > kingston

HDD: WD > HT > SG

Better question is which is the most comfiest.

This or these

Toshiba's ones are dogshit.

these will tear up the inside of your usb ports like hell. awful.

max comfy tier, best looks. no overdesigned bullshit.
