dumb frogposter

touch file.webm

dumb "dumb frogposter" poster

take a .mp4 video and edit the name my right clicking it and delete the '.mp4' and change it to '.webm' then click 'save'.
Only works on Windows 10 (it's what I use so that's my only experience)

ffmpeg -i your shit.mkv -ss 01:45.747 -to 01:55.633 -c:v libvpx -b:v 2M -vf scale=1280:-1 -an -quality best -threads 8 -f WebM mywebm.webm

>ffmpeg
this, now fuck off

its in their main page

melt 1487085481858.png out=359 -attach affine transition.rotate_x=1 transition.rotate_z=4 -consumer avformat:1487085481858.webm an=1 vb=1M

that only creates an empty file with the ".webm" extension, which is not what OP asked for.
OP asked for a webm file

An empty file with the webm extension is a webm file. It's just an empty one.

Like this
Someone create a webm of this dbz pls

-ss start time
-crf quality (4 is best)
-b:v bitrate

Ran into a similar issue with a file the other day. Can't remember what I did to fix it.

Stream 0:1 is the second stream of your input file. What does mediainfo say your second stream is? I'm guessing audio, in which case, try using -an instead of encoding audio, and see if that executes. If it does, then something's up with how the audio's handled.

Also, try adding -f webm, and

man touch
man finger
man mount

Yeah, the problem is the audio, I just don't understand why/what I can do to fix it

Can you encode the audio separately?

Try extracting it and encoding that directly.

mkvextract tracks file.mkv 2:audio.ac3

ffmpeg -i audio.ac3 -ss whatever -t whatever -c:a libvorbis test.ogg

ffmpeg -i 'Nella.The.Princess.Knight.S01E03.720p.HDTV.x264-W4F[eztv].mkv' -ss 00:00:00 -t 30 -c:v libvpx -crf 55 -qmin 40 -b:v 0 -an -sn diversity.webm -threads 0

Is this cultural appropriation?

...

No its a cartoon about a half black half mexican princess that is also a knight with magical powers that has a white boyfriend that is also an indentured servant.

...neither contained cultures involving medieval royalty, serfdom, or knights.

Cultural appropriation is a white guy getting a gold powder coat on his teeth or wearing a feather headress.

A black chick living in a medieval castle is just fantasy.

...What's the difference?

One is people copying a minority's culture and the other is multicultural fantasy nonsense.

Even if it were a black and mexican monarch living in a castle in real life it wouldn't be cultural appropriation unless you considered feudal lords to be a cultural minority, which they aren't.

>You can't appropriate a culture if they're not a minority

Oh fuck off to Sup Forums

You can't.

A nigger putting on a business suit isn't offensive.

A white guy born and raised in London putting on African garb and playing with drums in the street is.

I'll appropriate whatever the hell I want. I wanna eat sushi? I will. Watch anime? Yup doin' it. jerkin' it to asian chicks doing black chicks? Last tuesday. I had a taco for lunch and I'ma listen to the blues on the way home from work. And goddamn nothing gives me more of an erection than doing whatever the fuck I want. just like everyone else.

None of those things are cultural appropriation :P

Most of the sushi shit you see was created in the US.

Ok, I figured out the problem.
It seems that the error occurs if I set the audio bitrate below 84k.
I don't understand why though.

Everything was made in the US. Or will me assimilated by it.

It is not offensive.

Learn the difference between being "offended" and something being "offensive"

For instance, your idiocy is offending me. But stupid opinions aren't offensive.

>melt
Is this better than mpv for playback? And mpv too support encoding, although not sure if editing like that.

That's bizarre.

A white guy dressing up like a tribal negro playing with drums wouldn't offend you?

You are a very tolerant person.

I'd find that hilarious.

How the fuck do you even define a cultural minority? Are you acting like America and the West are the only places that matter? How the fuck are places like China and the various African peoples minorities?

how's that autism?

...What? I'm a normal fucking person.

Sounds like you're the sensitive one.

>Uses Japanese characters in their name
>Talks about cultural appropriation

I'd just google an online converter, ffmpeg is fucking impossible to use unless you have severe autism

Wait do you actually believe this?

My heritage is not a costume.

The two aren't really comparable, melt is not for general playback, it's a command line non-linear video editor.

Well in the scope of cultural appropriation its usually areas where colonization occurs and the indigenous minority still tries to exist.

Like how there are reservations and native american indians in the US, if you copied their culture it would be cultural appropriation.

The tribes wearing vests and top hats is just normal adaptation.

So it's only possible to culturally appropriate various native american cultures.

Its just the easiest example I can think of.
You have to take over an area and then trivialize a culture for it to happen its a pretty specific definition even if the words are ambiguous.

So a Brit can't be accused of cultural appropriation, but an American can.

man ffmpeg

Brits did that shit all over the globe, British Empire colonized a shitload of native lands.

No manual entry for ffmpeg

Britain the country is not a colony.

...This cultural appropriation shit seems really fucking arbitrary and not useful.

>Sup Forums - Technology & Politics

Britain includes Scotland and Ireland, both of which were colonized by the British.

:3

dumb"dumb "dumb "dumb frogposter" poster" poster"poster

...Ireland is its own sovereign nation, and Scotland, Whales, and Britain are three independent kingdoms that make up the United Kingdom.

>Whales

Britain usually means the United Kingdom.

You gotta say Great Britain to avoid confusion.

Whoa? That's filosophy right here.

No, the UK means the UK.

Britain means Britain.

Arbitrary definitions seem to be your forte, tripfag.
