It is still a dell

>you get what you pay for
>great build quality
lying piece of shit

The one I've used felt really sturdy

I'm talking about the ones intended for school use / work use

This. I will never buy a new dell because of all the shilling they do on here for the XPS 13/15.

Laptop commercial:
>Ultra-low power Intel processor
>screen
>GPU maybe
And then...
>beautiful design! Lightweight! Thin! Less ports! Stylish! Artisan!

Tech becoming a fashion item is one of the worst things to happen in the 21st century.

Would you prefer this counter-shilling?

Nothing but that you could have a surface though you pay extra

But can it run crysis?

Even my atom tablet can

>beautiful design
They were better years ago, the E6400 was the pinnacle of laptop design
>great hardware specs
They get by, sure, and soon we'll have Xeons in 'em too which is something I'm looking forward to (I own a Latitude and a Precision, for the record)
>bit pricey, but you get what you pay for
The base price includes 3 years of on-site warranty service, no questions asked repair or replacement which no other company can touch
>great build quality
Magnesium chassis for many years now, good/great battery life, good/great screens, overall I'm still a fan of Latitudes and Precisions over any other brands/models, no bullshit required to use any hardware you want (aka no Wi-Fi whitelist crap like ThinkPads and Elitebooks), etc.

Works for me.

>E6400 was the pinnacle of laptop design
Or the M4500

...

No it cannot, lol.

>beautiful design

I guess if you like generic black plastic laptops with no defining features sure

Yes it can, lol. I ran crysis 1 on it and it became hot, but it worked

>Dell

Dell has a sit reputation because of the crappy Inspiron and XPS Laptops. The Latitudes however are really good. There is no downside and I'm legitimately confused why Thinkpads get shilled here while Latitudes are never spoken of.

idk i used a thinkpad and latitude at my internship, took the latitude even though it had way lower specs.

1998 called. they wanted their VGA connector back

I'm shilled

>fucking outdated connectors man

Oops, no I mean I'm sold

>get what you pay for
t. mactoddler in training

>mac
>getting what you pay for
I have yet to meet one person irl whose serious about that unless they bought it used.

Sup Forums likes their computer cases as steel monoliths so yes

honestly they're pretty decent, was surprised dell actually made something that wasn't a total piece of shit. I set this one up for someone the other day.

may actually buy one if my mbp retina ever takes a shit

hey i own the same pair of jeans.

>buy new 24" IPS monitor
>VGA, HDMI and dvi-d connections
>comes with a fucking VGA cable

I raged

The dell emblem is so fucking tacky it ruins the look of everything it's on.
