It's like Belgium but a tiny little bit more legitimate, because they got their own language.

>their own language.
Weird Bulgarian isn't a proper language

So if it isn't related to ancient Macedonia, why the fuck is it called Macedonia? When was it created and why?

The age old mystery.

greeks aren't related to ancient greece yet we call the area greece
idk most of the balkanite identities are forged it seems to me

It's complicated:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macedonian_nationalism#Origins

It's named after the region.
Troughout history the people there used to be Serbians and Bulgarians, but when Serbians, Greeks and Bulgarians all tried to Serbizise, Bulgarize and Greekize the entire population they got some national identity of their own.

>t*rks aren't related to ancient turkey yet we call the area turkey
ftfy

You aren't related to Turkics other than linguistically while you don't descent linguistically from the Ottomans.
Greeks descent from Ancient Greeks and Byzantines both Genetically and Linguistically

>FYROM and its national identity?

I think that it has been meme'd into existence

The Serbs won and we lost. They have succeeded in permanently separating and alienating this part of the Bulgarian nation from its historical and blood origins.

It was quite clever, really. Rather than try to assimilate them, they used the strong regional identity to their advantage and elevated it to a national one.

Anyway, as both Bulgaria and Macedonia are dying , it does not even matter anymore.

you didn't even speak the same language before some hellenicboo austrian told you to
linguistics of turkey has stayed the same, except for a few changed in words to old-turkic from arabic/persian.
ottomans spoke a heavily persian influenced turkish in the palace, but that is just the royalty, we see similar patterns in rome as well
also there is also a direct line of state heritage coming from gokturks all the way in central asia
greeks on the other hand do not even have anything close to older greek culture today, there is no connection between the hellenistic greece and the greece of today

Don't let a burglar into your house!

Turkey is turkish!

Macedonia Albania and Bulgaria are the gipsyland.....must be nuke

Macedonian is to Bulgarian as Flemish is to Dutch

They are Bulgarians that are brainwashed by the Serbs to think they are seperate people.

We consider them Bulgarians

The clay was controlled by ancient Macedonian Greeks at some point. Just like you have New Mexico in the US, it is not Mexico anymore but it once was.

When we say Italian here we often add Ciganin, which means Italian gypsy. This, because by look many Italians cannot be distinguished from gypsies
