GUI or console, your choice?

I try to do as much work in the terminal as I can.

CLI when it is something that can be automated, GUI otherwise

Whichever is best suited for the task

Whichever suits the task better.

Generally I go for console first if it's a task I might be doing a lot of- so I can script the action.
But if it's something like touching up a photo I'm not going to console that motherfucker

Whatever is easier. Terminal is usually easier when everything is muscle memory.

TUI :^)

Strong CLI + frontend.

Console for text editing, reading config files and errordumps, GUI for browsing

>GUI
Casual shit.
>console
Why have a console when I have a computer?
Dumb terminal + punch card master race.

source?

GUI when you don't have a fucking clue what are you doing, CLI otherwise. It's also easier to script and automate in CLI.

ncurses

A GUI for database stuff is always nice.

ITT: People trying to impress others saying they use CLI while posting on a website using a graphical browser

>Not rewiring your hardware gate by gate.
fucking plebs

A mixture of these.

>implying I don't post from w3m using an automated bot to circumvent the captcha

I usually find GUI to be overly complicated, CLI is much simpler and easier to use.

GUI for shitposting and looking at/editing pdfs/djvu/postscript/docx files. CLI for file browsing and editing code.
