Install a distribution that isn't complete garbage (Arch, Gentoo, Debian)
install gentoo
grub rescue> ls
(hd0) (hd0,msdos3) (hd0,msdos2) (hd0,msdos1) (hd1) (hd2) (hd2,msdos2) (hd2,msdos1)
your grub bootloader is fucked, google how to fix it.
Tried to install Manjaro Gnome
install gentoo
install gentoo
it should look like this. did you try turning it off and back on again?
Boot live system, check visible partitions against /etc/fstab .
ill try to install ubuntu from cd and override my current system. tried aninstruction and my grub is really fucked up. hope ubuntu works.
stop using UUID you fucking mongrel
just get a usb stick and edit your grub config, find the boot option you were trying to run, and change the device id to your root partition
its not fstab, fstab is to tell what partitions linux wants to mount
the issue is that grub cant find the partition labeled by that uuid
>retards fuck up MBR
Lmao, you pleb. Live boot Ubuntu and reinstall GRUB.
1. grab a pendrive
2. download supergrub2
3. write the ISO to the pendrive using dd or win32diskimager
4. boot from it, let it start your system
5. repair grub from your system. Check your fstab for missing entries.
thats how far i got.

>ext2
It looks like you accidentally deleted the partition or it can find the partition where grub is installed. boot into live usb then chroot into your linux and grub2-install /dev/sdX
RTFM
>he thought people actually used linux
>he thought it was more than just a shitty meme
