delta rpms (pacman could do this as well, but mirrors don't support it), dnf copr > aur, installer was a breeze as well.
I don't know yet what to think about the 6 month release circle because I didn't had to upgrade yet.
Plus point is when you did all the shit in arch, you don't fell like something got abstracted away from you.
Still think that abs is the most sane way of customizing your own packages though.
