What kind of monitor cable would I need for this? I'm computer illiterate.

USB-D
Yeah I don't think so.
you need a VGA to DisplayPort adapter so you can plug in the HDMI cable your monitor uses.
DVI
...
Looks like DVI-D Dual link.
Firewire
DVI-D
It's DVI (display port), I'm not sure which type it is though
That's a parallel port.
You can plug a printer into that, but not a monitor. The card you've bought is a still image, not a video card.
DVI, it's not very common because HDMI came out immediately after and is better in every way
DVI-D, you can tell by the line instead of a cross (which is DVI-I).
That's the one OP
Thanks for the help lads.
...
This is the old one. It had the same number of slots, but the shit next to the slots was different. What would this one be called?
DVI-I
>Better in every way
Pls be bait
>HDCP
>Proprietary
>No analog for passive conversion to VGA
the shit next to the slots that looks like :|: is analog
the rest is digital
if your graphics card and monitor are digital you can poke some holes for the cable to fit
DMS-59.
stop answering niggers when they create new dumb threads
HDCP is not an argument anymore because DVI and DP also have HDCP
But I agree for the two others
dont forget that dvi actually has screws which objectively makes a connector 10000x better
You need a DVI-D cable. A DVI-I or DVI-A would not fit.
>'DVI-I would not fit'
Are you fucking retarded?
It won't fit because DVI-I/A have more pins on the left you fucking retard.
Holy fucking shit I am retarded, just saw a graphics card and assumed it was a DVI-I out. Sorry, user.
delet this.
also >>>/sqt/
You need the AMD or Nvidia version of your cable otherwise you'll be capped at 60fps.
is right.
Next time ask in stupid questions thread though.
Why would I need analogue?
Not DVI-I
You need DVI-D
Checked.
Haha holy shit I remember getting burned by this too. Is that the 1060? Get a new monitor faggot it's GetDate().Year
Stop shitposting, shit stain. >>>k/ys
His connector actually lacks the analog stuff, it looks to be the digital-only DVI like Polaris/Pascal have.
For those times you need to pretend it's 1994 and play Doom at 640x480
Backwards compatibility with VGA devices. In any case, there's no reason to use HDMI over the more versatile DVI and the more capable DisplayPort.
Look for either DVI-D (Dual Link) or (Single Link).
Watch out for the extra pins models that are on the image.
DVI-D
