I'm building a PC and I don't know anything about cases. Can you guys recommend me a good ATX case that has sound-deadening? Sub-$100 would be ideal.
PC Cases
buy the cheapest one that isn't paper thin
>I don't know anything about cases
I'm not buying a chinese off-brand.
Just don't buy one from India. People from India are some of the most racist people on the planet. Don't support them find another country to help.
While I'm indian myself. I do agree with you. I didn't even know India made cases lol.
i dunno about sound deadening, but i'm using the corsair 200r and it is really nice.
White people are easily the most racist on the planet.
$100 is a lot for a case, that pretty much means you have no price limit.
Sound-deadening means no external 5.25" bays. If that's okay check out this case from Fractal Design:
t. pajeet
>External bays
Do people still use them? I don't.
These seems like a really good case. If I can't find anything else, I will probably get it.
triggered poo in loo detected
This fractal case had sound-deadening and TWO 5.25" drive bays.
Deepcool Kendomen RD Mid Tower
I payed $80 Auzzi dollars for mine delivered.
>sound deadening
Buy a can of car sound deadner. Does the job. Just don't spray it in threads.
200r is a good case, personally like the define series by fractal design. I had the r4 but the newer r5 is basically the same thing. Both sub 100
>gaymur case
I am want bunga bunga yes please now
That looks a bit... edgy.
Seeing how the fractal design c has sound-deadening. I might go with that.
Go with the Define S. Essentially same case but cheaper, yet bigger
Whoop-de-fucking-do.
I'd rather spend less on that then some $300 for some artisan bullshit pandering to anti gaymer autismos.
I looked for something simple, but they were three times the price with less bays and cooling.
Now if we were talking mice, you might have a point. But it's literally just a fucking container.
Don't go for what looks cool. Go for what is quiet.
Just looked it up and sold out on Newegg and the same price as the Define C on Amazon. Plus it seems to be an older model. So Define C is the better choice.
Yeah, I'm not crazy for aesthetics too much. The Define C has everything I wanted and more for a good price.
NZXT S340/ Elite, sexy case and 80-100
I'll shill any day for this case
thats a lot of text
>guy wants sound-proof case
>suggest case without soundproofing
>surprised about him being mad.
On the other hand he shouldn't be asking this question in the first place since g_STICKY.xml
Not the nigga who triggered you, buuuuut
That deepcool case is fugly
He offered a realistic solution to the sound issue.
A can of which is $10
Also that case comes with 5 fans. So that's pretty good for a sub $100 case.
The gaymer red bits are easily painted over.
Agreed, but beggers and whatnot.
phanteks.com
Window or a closed version
And the S is for silent
Windows if you like /guts/, RGBWUV+ shit, etc.
If not just go windowless
>black/red is cheaper than black/blue for some reason
>plain black is either glossy or Razer edition
Good case though
I'm not going to paint my case. I would rather spend more to not have to deal with it.
Another good contender.
Same problem with cum and shit colored noctua meme fans
>regular shit color is 19 bucks
>all black is 25
I still don't understand how people pay more than 20 dollars for one fan
Quick question. WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU CALLING IT SOUND DEADENING? ARE YOU FUCKING DUMB ITS SOUNDPROOFING.
have this link that shows all cases under 100 and are organized from most good reviews to least reviews.
No need to get PC on me. You know what I mean.
BECAUSE IT ISN'T SOUND PROOF
That, and I come from a engineering line of work. So calling something by its false advertising name is not on the cards.
k and I forgot the link
pcpartpicker.com
technically we're both wrong since it's sound absorbing foam OP wants inside his case.
dont buy a case at all go dumpster dive till you find an old filing cabnet or appropriate sized box mout your components add deadening foam bettereyet watercool
Not necessarily absorbing foam. But any case that actively tries to decrease the sound level.
Troll post
Can't you just put some audio foam inside, like cut a few squares and strips and set it up to the side of the inside with velcro tape or something.
Could look pretty aesthetic if you do it right.
Any case you want + 30 dollar studio foam pack + scissors assuming your case isn't an alien spaceship in terms of interior angles.
Get this case op, trust
>Could look pretty aesthetic if you do it right
>look aesthetic
