cpu temps above 80c under load
[spoiler]fucking haswell
Cpu temps above 80c under load
Haslel was trash, whould have bought Sandy or Ivy.
>intel
You dug your grave now lie in it.
would have been fine if intel didn't cheap out on the thermal paste
>le bulldozer
>>le bulldozer
Yeah what about it? I get nearly quiet operation even while encoding HEVC video.
Those temps are reached with the stock cooler btw.
each of those cores is a fraction of the performance
>80°C
Get a proper cooler, not even my Bulldozer piece of shit gets that hot.
>tfw haslel
>tfw temps under 50c while encoding
Either get better cooling or back that overclock down, scrub
More like 3/4ths and I do plan to get an R7 1700 anyway.
Anyway enjoy your shitty temps and housefire TDPs.
>tfw haslel is so shit you have to buy a $200 aftermarket cooler to barely keep it from bursting into flames
I overclocked it to 4.2ghx at 1.16v using a hyper 212 evo reee that's not even that high
I wish my 6700k ran hotter because my room is cold during the winter and I wish I could use my computer as a space heater.
Luckily my 290x gets above 80c under heavy load so I can enjoy some heat while I play GtA V.
>$200
Mine was 60€, because I wanted something silent. No need for gamer lights or closed meme coolers.
>reply, realise I replied to a cartoon posting namefag
Eeeeew...
>$200
no, $50 max
>barely keep it from bursting into flames
sure decreasing the per core performance helps prevent this
4670k? gets up to 90+ running p95 after 15 or so min at 4.1ghz and 1.2v. my chip is a pos. even got a nice phanteks cooler and all.
4770k
You are doing something wrong, 64°C is the max I've hit with both cpu and igpu running under full load using stock cooler.

You won the "shitty TIM application under the IHS" lottery.
Go ahead and void your warranty now by delidding it.
Is it know if Ryzen is soldered?
My 4670k at 4.4GHz (1.28v) reaches 90-95c in Prime95 with a Noctua NH D14.
Delid it son.
