RYZEN DOA XDD

RYZEN DOA XDD

>loses to 7700K in single threading
it is DOA.

>400mhz slower stock
>loses by just 100 points
RMA yourself

while being clocked .7GHz lower considering boost speeds for both. Ryzen will destroy the 7700k with a MINOR overclock

>3GHz vs 4.2GHz
Baby Lake is hot garbage

>believing shit from an Iranian hardware-pictures forum

So when are youtubers allowed to release their benchmarks? its currently march 2nd on the east coast

Now post the in game benchmarks

9am tomorrow according to PCPer. That's when the embargo is lifted.

Thanks for the answer my friend. i don't see why it isn't just lifted at midnight, though

poozen is running at 4.0 actually. which makes it shittier haswell 4 years later

Its because Kaby Lake is overclocked skylake :D :D

Yes it is DOA

Hmm, interesting grouping. All shitty DX11 nigger titles...

At least 50% of that pic are AAA legendary titles that sold million of copies. Stay salty pajeet

Now post the one with the RAM, dumb shill

>having to resort to putting shit ram in the amd system just to make intel look good

>Just wait for Ryzen!
>Just wait for DX12 games!
>Just wait for Vega

Since fucking when has RAM resulted in a 20 FPS difference outside of niggerrigged games like Fallout 4? And that's an extreme rarity

Looks okay here.

But why cripple it like that tho

kekked

1700x boost is 3.8 pls go shit in the designated area

>RMA yourself

>can't even beat Intel's CPU that costs $100 less than Ryzen
>ok

AMDtard delusion in full effect

...

The Ryzen CPU is even more expensive.

If it is losing then there is literally no reason to buy Ryzen

Explain this, dumb jew

Explain how fucking RAM is causing 20-30 FPS differences

Depends on the game.

The only game I've ever heard of that any sort of real performance impact from RAM is Fallout 4, at least in recent memory

Nice goalpost shifting, the argument is performance, regardless of price, especially in face of the X99 chips.

But that's only single thread, the multi score is 2x as high, so if your workload is appropriate, you're looking at a massive improvement.

>LITERALLY no reaso
>double the cores
Nice

You would be wrong. Bioshock is also heavily effected.

I do go get all worked up about raisin cornz and i can wait for Intel's X releases in a month or two. 8 corn kabby lake-x? Uhhh yes pleaze

The falcon releasing his benchmarks and updating his guide with ryzen builds when?

>RMA yourself

gonna steal this

>b-but intel releases new architecture like every year
yfw its the same fuckin cpu? kaby lake and coffee lake are OPTIMIZATIONS of Skylake
>B-but cannonlake
Still same fucking cpu, just a die shrink

>synthetic benchmark meme

>1080p
>4 yrs old Intel 4770K beats Rypoo by 1 fps.

sad pathetic

haswell-e refresh here i find all this hilarous and i cant wait to jump ship

>it's ok when intel does it

At stock clock, when the 7700K runs at a higher frequency and uses fuck loads more power

You could easily overclock Ryzen to destroy it

and then you overclock kaby and ryzen will never touch it.

It comes with twice the number of cores, and you can actually disable some to increase overclocking headroom of you wanted

Remember AMD CPUs have a higher scores in synthetic benchmark, but run shitty on games.

In another word, synthetic benchmark means nothing to the daily real-world stuff.

that shits crashing at 4.1ghz

take that overclock shit outta here

ps 99% of people dont overclock

They have the same FPS in videogames except in 800x600

>the only thing a pc can ever do is play games

This confirms Ryzen Master Race.

Intel: Expensive, Hot Garbage

yeah see Long way for AMD to reach 4770K level.

4770K is a 4 yrs old CPU. Impressive?

Try reading the thread next time

>DX 11
>DX 11
>DX 11
>DX 11

It'll be more interesting to see overclocking results. If you can get it up to same frequency as a 7700k you will have a direct comparison.

>iranian benchmarks
>slow ram
>dx11

stay desperate

Im surprise they even use dual channel for that

Underrated

This is AMD we're talking about.

The company whose entire net worth is less than that of Intel's R&D budget (or was until Ryzen.)

Not only does this benchmark show the 1700x beating skylake in single threading, It shows it beating kabylake in multi-threading in the same way a drunk redneck beats his kids and wife; mercilessly.

Not only did they meet the performance increases they promised us, they surpassed it significantly.

To call Ryzen DOA is the most blatant lie on the internet right now.

Will there be 1900X?

Yeah, it's called naples

Cool. I'll probably get 1800X series, 1900X is bit too much.

>consumes twice as much power
>can't be overclocked without extreme cooling

that's pretty bad

8 cores to sometimes, maybe edge out a 4 core

cool

and their main claim to fame is muh efficiency. well if they can even get to the same clocks as intel then they would be sucking down the same watts

(you).

Man 1800X is beating a +1200 dollar processor in some of these tests. I hope they're real.

>8 cores to sometimes, maybe edge out a 4 core

In what cases does the 8 core not edge out the 4 core?
>inb4 muh games and synthetic benches

they're not tho

>all benchmarks show it's shit
>those are irrelevant and don't prove anything! prove it to me another way!

There is nothing maybe about it. The only time a 4 core isn't brutally raped by an 8 core cpu with similar single core performance is if you're using less than 5 threads.

>Intel
>same average fps for all 4c/8t i7 CPUs since 2013 and probably farther back
>"T-Thanks Haswell!"

Jesus, the Jewing doesn't end does it?

>same
>since 2013
>amd can't even beat a 2013 cpu
wew

>NDA hasn't even been lifted yet
>"but the benches user! You can trust Int.. I mean those benches!"

>Intel can't even beat a 2013 CPU and would rather bribe than innovate
SAD!

How can Riven Ridge even compete with a 128MB L4 cache?

>shilling intel
>shilling amd
how much retarded are you, /g?

are there any other CPU manufacturers for desktop use?

I don't know, but you should try your best to give them as little money as possible. Buying new cpu every year with 1% perfomance increase isn't the best thing to do. My sandy bridge core i5 from 2012 performs perfectly, and it probably will for many years, don't see any reasons to buy new one. Even if I will, I'll try to buy some second hand cpu.

I sell my PC parts when I upgrade so I don't really lose much when I update yearly.

You are seriously retarded.

Ryzen gets killed in almost every application, it literally only works well in heavily multi-threaded optimized apps.

it's is not about losing money, it's about not giving your money to proprietary hardware manufacturers

How many games support multithreading?

All Frostbite titles?
>its the future
-meme is becoming reality

its an es in all the benches so far, and we all know canard's couldnt do all core 3.4 and stuck to 3.2

how much you want to bet the es had major issues boosting on this one too?

xfr

These are heavily gimped sandnigger tests that intel paid off.

Unbiased benchmarks will show even better performance.

oh no, sub 10% worse on an es, how will amd ever... oh wait, this program uses 8 cores and you have 8 cores, and this one uses 4 and the difference is barely noticeable...

hard to see the reason not to get ryzen.

ram is honestly becoming more and more a bottleneck for many games, where some like witcher 3 respond better to a ram oc then a cpu.

>AMDrones in charge of not being retarded

>Ryzen overperforms

>overperforms
lol you're beyond retarded

That means it's slower than on the benches.

buying a weak 8 core chip for a hundred bucks more for "future gainz"

nah get the fast 4core single thread. in 4-5 years get a proper 8 core.

Uehara Ai ?

Good goy! We'll have exciting new sockets to sell you!

overperform (third-person singular simple present overperforms, present participle overperforming, simple past and past participle overperformed)

(finance) Of an investment, to provide a financial result superior to what was expected.

Corelets need to be gassed

>missing the fucking point

The point is that intel is too shit to "overperform"

Intel has half the L2 cache.

>ryzen
>barely beating the 7700k in MT
>b-but muh bang for the buck
>turns out it also has worse cost benefit

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

This is just too good. I don't think my sides can take it anymore.
My ribcage is literally in danger of bursting of laughter.
