Picture too dark m8

here, another before the 2nd fury was added

That lighting is a bit better. I'm also posting from my phone, with it dim since my room is dark. You know. Gotta get my late night shit posting in.

How did you get your cards so straight?

My slots have the metal and all that but it always hangs a little lower on the right.

Very nice guts, mates.

Thanks man. I'm this guy by the way, new case. I don't have a photo of the Evolv build on my phone so this one will do

Mine hang ever so slightly. Sometimes laying the case on it's side and mounting them straight and tight helps.

Oh man, i loved that build. So compact. So nice. What made you switch cases?

I have shit lighting otherwise, so I let the white LEDs do all of it. The darkness also hides some of the less pretty parts inside. Also that gold shimmer on the RAM is a reflection of my weird wall.
thanks mate, same to you and your purple exhaust fan, lets circlejerk some more

Well. I wanted more performance, and my M1 build was just too hot for the HDD (which runs hot in general because of it's capacity/design) and I wanted an NVMe drive but it would have constantly throttled. I switched to an Evolv ATX TG, but my motherboard is E-ATX and it posed fitments issues. Also the case has kind of poor support for dual 360 rads. I used a test bench for a while, but it looked like ass and got dusty. Then my current case released, and so far it fits my needs perfectly.

Working on doing some mod stuff at the moment and finalizing the case/cooling layout.

cool, im going to repasteand fix a dud front 3.0 socket this week. I'll see if i can make it look that good

Those Nitro coolers are sexy asf, makes me wish i got a 390/Fury

>tfw fell for the 970 meme

>3.5+.5 :^)

:(

I was almost about to get a 480 instead, which might've looked better because of the all silver backplate, but the fury's dropped in price right when i was about to buy

You can also buy stuff from like MNPC Tech to help hold the card. google.com/search?q=mnpctech gpu support&safe=off&client=ms-android-google&prmd=sniv&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi086e3tbfSAhVF4SYKHaEuC68Q_AUICSgD&biw=412&bih=604

Well, good luck my man!

Na but for real the 970 is a good card. Don't worry about it my dude.

Thanks. I tried bending my glass tubing today. Didn't work so well hahaha

Glass, not PETG. So I need to find something particularly heat resistant to fill the glass and prevent kinks.

No windowed sidepannel, no need for fancy cable-management.

Is that intel ssd, just there? Don't see any sata cables.

You don't see any tubing or fittings either. It's not done yet. But yes it is an Intel SSD.

Gamers are the neckbeards tbqh

it can be both, but then there's Sup Forums neckbeards and reddit neckbeards, and then normal people somewhere in the middle

It looks like somebody could drive that thing. Very nice mate.

>he doesnt know how to bend glass tubing
Rotate the tubing all the time to get it hot, when it starts to droop let it, after it reaches the point where you want the bend to stop remove it from the heat and start rotating it again while holding both ends.

They teach this to people in chemistry class and there are three minute youtube videos about this.

You cretin.

Is this the dramatically lit R9 Fury general? Posting my Tri-X. How's the workstation mobo? Is it a Xeon build?

But cable management is relaxing and satisfying, user. That's an RX480, right? What's with the additional fan below the waterblock?

Make way coming through.
i7 4790k 4.6Ghz completely stable, 4.7 depends on the application it seems.
Radeon Fury X.
One SSD and two HDD's.
75.27d/19u

It's got a lot of features but the z170 chipset isnt compatible with xeon. If you want ASUS's best workstation board you pretty much have to go 2011-3, but the board for that is like ~$700 US I think

I feel like it needs more lighting. The right of the cpu cooler and below the gpu are enshrouded in darkness when the computer isn't in direct sunlight.
Any suggestions? LED strips? LED fans? Leaving it the fuck alone?
(I'll fix that crooked pcie cable, I promise. Too lazy atm).

Ah, I didn't realize it was Z170.

> 4.6Ghz completely stable, 4.7 depends on the application

What voltage? When I had a 4790k, it would do 4.8 but only on a voltage that would raise temperatures into the 80s.

Ugly as shit, but perfectly functional. I approve. If it was a woman I'd put a paper bag over her head and call her a fine wife.

I've left it on auto because lazy, but off the top of my head, 1.35v I think. I really, really ought to go manual and see how low I can get it to try and save it some burden, but I just can't bring myself to keep on testing voltages all day.

>But cable management is relaxing and satisfying, user.
only if you have a fully modular power supply and some varying lengths, otherwise it becomes a game of how much can i stretch or push behind the mobo plane, lol

I keep on meaning to get some hard tubing and sort it out so it'll look better, feed it from the bottom only and possibly put in a taller reservoir, but then my fiancée decides we're going to go on holiday to Fuertaventura (November just gone) and this year Tenerife. So money is spent elsewhere.

You also need the right case for it, as some cases will provide a small amount of space behind the mobo and call it adequate when its not (Define R4 was semi-guilty) while others offer plenty of space (Define S)

Yes, it's a 480.
The smaller fan is to cool the northbridge, which heats up quite a bit if left running for more than 24 hours.

This is my old build. It's really not that hard. Sure I didn't do any kind of amazing job, but I kept it mostly tidy.

I did that and it still kinked, because it's a thicker wall tubing you miscreant.

I'm going to get metal bender heads and let it fall in those evenly. And slowly, so it gets perfect bends and doesn't kink

new psu and fans came in Not installed yet.

...

This is a nice computer, user!

What's with the 2.5" HDD though?

Ripped it out of old laptop and could use some extra storage. Looks kinda out of place but I have to store my porn somewhere.

Meh

>I did that and it still kinked, because it's a thicker wall tubing you miscreant
If you did then it would have worked, unless you are trying to say that all the scientific and technical glass blowers are wrong and you are right.

...

I would post but my cable management is fucking shameful

Cable whatnow?

looks ok, that small aio cooler is fucking retarded in mid tower tho

bump

If you really want to bump this shit thread at least rate others builds or something man

...

I don't give a fuck how it looks... 2x512gb 850 pro raid 0, 1 2tb wd black and 3 1tb 850 evos in the racks. 4770k 4.6 32gb 1080ftw SLI

First PC I've built myself.

Kinda wish my GPU was either black or white though.

hay guise i'm op look at my l33t rig !!!1

Need more dildos :^)

...

...

sperg harder tard

The FT05 is a really clever case but you really need to pay attention, there's little room in the case. But holy shit is it very nice, quiet, and cools extremely well.

Was looking forward to Ryzen being good for gaming
Guess I'll keep waiting

>two housefires with the EVGA power connector thingies and an nvidia HB bridge
what the fuck lmao

That looks really nice, beats my amateur housefire.
