>Ubuntu
Cuck detected.

CIA are fucking with my internet. They're constantly disconnecting me.

It works you dumb archnigger

Did I say it didn't, retard?

You called terry a cuck, you nigger.

He is a cuck.
>living your life in constant fear
>not cucked

The atheist CIA and their nigger agents are trying to destroy him and god. Terry doesn't fear the nigger, he will destroy them.

at this point i am tripping balls

Am I imagining this?

God, Terry is one of the few things that makes me smile. I get all excited like a schoolgirl when I watch his videos.

I want to be as hardcore and cool as terry is.

I mean, terry is everything everyone should be.

Why doesn't Terry use BSD instead of Linux, since Linux has NSA all over it?

NSA can't touch God's chosen. CIA are Terry's natural enemies.

NSA helps the CIA and Terry doesn't give a shit about the host OS

what does the front of terry's hat say?

I'm 12 years old and what is this?

What's his problem? Files he's uploading are getting corrupted?

CIA fucking with his brain

He just switched FTP clients, didn't he realise?

Why does he host his site on GoDaddy? Doesn't he know it is run by Satan?

It's not the CIA, it's that awful FF download manager.

>THIS IS HOW IT ENDS MOTHERFUCKER!
>pauses while Miller ad plays

I wonder why the checksums are different. Can someone try this and see if they get the same result?

What is he talking about?
He has the space alien and the cia nigger is sucking his cock? What?

i went to take a piss. in those 45 seconds its gone from troubleshooting wget and firefox downloading a file inconsistently to terry watching the trailer for contact and shouting nonstop about cia niggers and aliens

Holy shit I'm in tears. best Terry in a long time

Chromium niggers BTFO

>chromium niggers

that's a new one.

>talking in 3rd person with grandiosity

Terry is obviously off his meds.

Instant classic episode...

user wants to be hardcore but his mom wont let him .png

>Terry is obviously off his meds.
When was he ever on his meds?

I told you niggers chromium was for niggers, thanks based terry for backing me up.

What's the space alien supposed to represent? Also, what's that random happy words generator he uses?

can anyone git him to install ublock orgin?

Firefox CIA niggers BTFO

Terry Davis uses Firefox

newcomers to the thread just watch from here

youtube.com/watch?v=I5mGFDAusOs&feature=youtu.be&t=6720

m8 are you kidding, the ads always interrupt him with hilarious results

did u watch the stream

I saw him using it a minute ago, I saw the Firefox pocket extension.

CIA tried to pull a fast one on him with Firefox corrupting his downloads but he cracked it

it makes him look like a normie shilling subliminals in his vids, also distracting and CIA nigger mcuck ultra subversion, attack on thought, etc.

Watch the stream niggers, Terry uses Firefox

I downloaded templeos.org/files/TempleOSBooks1.ISO.C using firefox and wget and both got 17219584 bytes

what's a space alien?

Whatever meds terry takes he needs to increase his dose.

That's the point, CIA compromised HIS Firefox.

Same result... hmmmm.. INTERESTING.... It's one this for him to say there's a missing a single byte, and another to watch him.. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes... WOW... spooky

>Terry fell for the 128GB RAM meme

>Not having 128GB so you can talk directly to god

forgot to ask you if you ran the checksums onboth files to see if there is a discrepancy...

What is he eating?

cornflakes? the bowl he's using is a cereal bowl.

They must be soggy af then

SpaghettiOs, he showed the can on stream the other day when he came back from the store

I get 1bcc7a44dd62b25d597df7048c9af8035f72cf70f5f607cbd587f67f6602c2b2 on both

That just makes me sad

Wait, what? you're getting the same result Terry is? So, it is something with the FF DL manager, then? If that's the case somebody with Terry access needs to tell him the error is reproducible, and FF DL manager BTFO.

1bcc is the correct one.

really is cia niggers.. wew lads

Here's the spot he shows his results
Hmmmm.. the plot thickens

>Ok, I have new development, and this time I'm able to replicate the problem AND eliminate it at will.

>First, it turn out the proxy and the virus scan had nothing to do with the issue. The test I've made previously involved a file type not configured with the same download condition (action) affected by the issue, namely .exe file.

>As you all know, Firefox can be configured to behave in a specific way (action) with each file type of you download, except .exe, which will always ask you what you want to do with it (that's why my previous test didn't show any error). This is configured in "option / applications" where you associate and "action" with each file type.

>All my archives file type (zip, 7z, rar) are setup to "save file". This is where the bug of Firefox is. To find this, I've opened the temporary folder of Firefox to take a look at the ".part" file Firefox generates (temporary download file). It turn out that when your action is set to "save file", the part file stays at zero byte, even If you leave your file requester open for a long time. Then, when you finally hit "save", the part file is transfered, still at zero byte, to its destination folder (the folder you choose to save your file to) where the downland is started and completed. Unless you hit "save" within 2-3 second, your file will be truncated, meaning a smaller size than it should be, and therefor, corrupted.

>Compare this behavior to this:

>Next, I've changed the action for my zip file to "always ask", tried to download the same zip file. Firefox opened a requester asking me what I want to do. Amazingly, at this very instant, I could see the part file being created in the temps folder and growing in size byte by byte as the download proceeded until the file reach the actual correct size. I then choose "save file" and then "save". This time, it's the completed download part file that was transfered to the destination folder, so it obviously didn't care how much time I took to press "save", the file was 100% OK as it was already entirely downloaded in the temp folder.

>In resume:

>Action "save file": Keep the part file in the Firefox temp folder at zero byte, until you hit "save". Then the part file, still at zero byte, is transfered as is to the destination folder where the actual download occurs. If you take too much time to hit "save", your file will be truncated, especially with small size file (larger file size tolerate longer time to hit "save"). Try it with a zip file of around 1500Kb to replicate the problem. Click on that file link, then wait 15 seconds to hit "save". Test the archive integrity = fail...

>Action "always ask": As soon as you click on that same zip link, the part file start to download straight into Firefox temp folder. You then select "save file' and click OK. Then you choose your destination folder and click "save". Either the partially downloaded part file is transfered to the destination folder where the download is completed, or if you took too long to hit "save", it's the completed downloaded file that is transfered to the destination folder. No matter how long I've waited, the final zip file always check out as valid. No mater what I've tried, I couldn't procedure a corrupted file.

He was downloading to his Downloads folder, not a sshfs (or other FUSE filesystem)

>In conclusion, if you want to avoid corrupted download files with Firefox, make sure to set their corresponding "action" to "always ask". That is unless you always download you stuff to the same folder and hit "save" very quickly, then, of course, you were never even aware of this issue. My problem is I never download to the same folder and searching around my multi-terabyte NAS to find the appropriate destination folder pretty much always take too much time for Firefox taste and always lead to corrupted file when the "action' is set to "save file". That mean now I use the action "always ask" for all my file to be downloaded and have to live with an extra step to initiate each download.

>NOTE: I would appropriate very much if anyone could try to replicate the problem and confirm it. I successfully replicated it myself on 2 different PC. 1 with XP 32bit SP3 and Firefox 14.1. The other with Win7 ultimate 64 and WaterFox 15.0.

>I hope it will help those who were searching for an answer to this problem. Regards,

>[ 09-09-2012 ]

Fuck Fagfox, it's complete trash. why is this allowed for the last 10 years?

yee it's not fuse, that was just the first result came across, ohwell. the greentext seems to make more sense.

How did he figure out it was corrupted to begin with? What was the file for?

He's got a fucking alien in his house user what did you expect?

This is why I use wget. It also explains why DownThemAll is so popular.

open sores =/= free software

>Article is old.
>Applies to Windows 'only'.
You work for the CIA, don't you. You're not fooling us. Let Terry eat his SpaghettiOs in peace.

it fits with what he did in the video waiting on the save dialog. a problem with the GUI and i/o would be on all firefox on all systems. the bug has probly been there since GUI feature was added, ie. forever.

firefox is shit git over it MIT nigger.

He was doing the full install and hit an error reading one of the files from the Books1.ISO.C

I downloaded the same way as Terry did with FF with the "save file" dialog, got the correct 17219584 bytes
Someone in the stream mentioned they couldn't reproduce either

well it's just some old normie forum m8. we're back to CIA botnet attack on fagfox.

As a LARPing Sup Forums digital forensics scientologist, I can confidently state that, the only way to truly test this is to replicate Terry's test environment. We need software version numbers, work with the exact same test files, and if possible, test on a machine that has his same specs. In short, we need to replicate his computer, "Black Satan."
