Public hackathons are stupid if you're not using them as networking tools. The laintard obsession with hackerspaces is actually not as stupid as it sounds because it's an unsupervised cooperative space.

I was going to try go to some meetings from a meet up website because I'm very lonely in the city I moved to but it turns out all of the "nerds" are web designers, one of the guys running it calls himself a beer hacker so I decided it wasn't the kind of group for me so I'm staying in and playing red orchestra instead, might work on the windows server lab I've been half assing for the past while too

HH was always cancer. The subgroups were OK, I guess, before they all turned into Tumblr or Sup Forums. How new are you?
