Shut the fuck up, you niggers. Do you honestly think you can see the difference between 273 fps and 267 fps? Are you all really this retarded?
The 1800X is a perfectly good gaming processor. It's a few frames behind the 7700, but at that frames, it doesn't matter anyway. Please don't be this retarded.
The 1800X is much better at other things that any computer user would do too - like encryption/decryption, compression/decompression, and so on. Like, orders of magnitude better.
Another moron that doesn't understand cpu benchmarks.
Leo Stewart
>i5 faster than i7 intel fags on suicide watch
Samuel Gutierrez
Must be a HT issue.
Nicholas Phillips
just check how xeons progressed for games same thing will happen here so waitfag argument of advancing gpus is mute
Owen Morales
>3fps less than a 6950K which costs 3x as much
INTEL ON SUICIDE WATCH
Evan Butler
No one cares about those frame rates we just care that its slower in 90% of the shit done on a PC for much more money
Gabriel Adams
What?
It destroys Intel in everything outside of games. The 1700x has comparable performance to a 6900K and it's 1/3rd of the price.
Brandon Rodriguez
Are you dumb?
The 7600k that beats it is $240 fucking dollars
The 1800X is $500
Literally no reason to buy the 1800x, it's horrible
Zachary Allen
>It destroys Intel in everything outside of games.
No it doesn't, it's horrible at nearly everything
Jaxson Cox
It actually does not beat it overall, anymore than it beats the 1000 doller 6900k.
It's just better at ONE thing, games.
Gavin Scott
Adobe is shit at multithread.
Keep cherry picking benches
Bentley Gomez
I need it CPU for for rendering and light gaming.
Should I go with 6900k or 7600k or 1800x?
Brody Thompson
Please respond.
Owen James
Anything single threaded is completely blown away but 7700. And even shit like adobe premiere we see the 7700 keeping pace with the 6950X only being 21% slow on exporting and in some things it performs faster.
I'll take the all around good chip, the one that plays games, runs photoshop and lightroom and can do video just fine. If shaving a few seconds here and there off specialized multi-threaded applications is worth being slower all around then be my guess.
Ayden Mitchell
7600k
Jace Sanders
>ONE thing
oh here look at that, the 7700 trading blows with the 6850....
Ian Sullivan
7600k is incredible for the price, go for it
Tyler Miller
Why?
Julian Stewart
oh look at that, the 7700k exceeding all the big bad intel processors... and at substantially cheaper than the 1800x
yup, there is no need to change from sandy anytime soon
Matthew Taylor
Ryzen is pointless because you can get latest intel for almost 100$ less in every parts of Europe. 1700 ryzen is almost 100$ more expensive than i7 7700k
Why the fuck /3/ always said to get XEON then? I said rendering and light gaming. I'm not trying to stream GTAV and act like pewd.
Kayden Gutierrez
Why Sup Forums always make misleading recommendation?
First 970 and now this?
Sebastian Howard
lol nice cherry picking, shill
Xavier Perry
>more adobe shit >then your bench goes on to say it does not match the high end i7s the current ryzen matches
*yawn*
Shill better or not at all
Jayden Russell
sucks when reality doesnt line up with desire doesn't it?
if spending needless money for a type of kit that wont be ready for the prime time for another several iterations is what keeps you going, then by all means go for it. just don't try to mislead people who can't do their own research.
Jeremiah Morris
you're paying 3 times as much for those extra 3 frames, stupid goyim.
David Campbell
Pretty much.
Buying a 1000 dollar 8c16t i7 is truly a waste when ryzen exists.
Nicholas Jackson
buying a $520 ryzen cpu is truly a waste when 7700k and cuda exists.
Ryan Hughes
>all multithreaded tasks are handled by the gpu
A true insight into the mind of a Intel shill. Little does he realize by invalidating ryzen he invalidates his own line of 8c16t cpus
> how would the 7700k compare against the 6800k? for me it would be important to know, since it'd determine or at least narrow down my choices of motherboards.
>The 6800K is just a slower (lower clock speed) version of the 6850K we tested, and while it also has fewer PCI-E lanes that won't directly impact video editing performance. The clock speed difference will bring it closer to the 7700K in a lot of situations where the 6850K is only 5-10% faster now, especially when working with common 1080P footage types. The 6800K would still be a little faster than the 7700K when dealing with more complex codecs or higher resolutions, but at the same time it will fall further behind the 7700K in situations where that was already faster than the higher core count processors - like Warp Stabilize.
AMD chasing that 6800 while intel already had a better performing part for sale. top kek
Nicholas Gomez
>and cuda exists.
What is this I don't even?
Serious question, Is Sup Forums really this retarded these days?
