I fully switched to macOS for my work computers since I didn't want to deal the windows bullshit.

For me the reason to switch was pretty simple, I wanted a development platform that had more enterprise application support than a pure linux environment.

You can take off the cover without voiding the warranty. I've done it many times over the years and received warranty support twice without issue. They even replace the screws when you bring them in pro bono to ensure they don't strip given the small size.

it has its ups and downs, and performance wise it is no different than a $300 walmart laptop, but performance is not the deciding factor in me buying it.

it is not more user friendly than windows 10. and certainly has its downsides. i still prefer windows, but i would take osx any day over the shitty mainstream linux distros.
