If you like the styling, then yes. The DUW 3001 is a pretty neat truly in-house ultra-thin automatic movement. Just be careful that they all wear much larger than you think due to being all dial and having g long lugs.

First of all, $400-$80=$320. Second, there are objective improvements in quality/cushioning/ergonomics up to around $140. Full retardation doesn't set in until the $150 mark imo, especially if the person is actually playing sports/running in them.
