no hope for us

>he doesn't work for himself
never going to make it

let me explain something to you autists.
they do not literally mean that you absolutely positively MUST have those requirements to apply. That is their IDEAL candidate. First job I ever got out of college said at least five years experience with rails, and I had been using it for barely half a year. Guess what? I got the job.
It means you actually did something other than watch anime all day you retards.
Have Rust or Go been around that long?
Things that never happened: the post
>WE CAN'T FILL FILL OUR POSITIONS WITH AMERICAN WORKERS
>WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR MONTHS BUT NOBODY QUALIFIED IS APPLYING
>WE NEED MORE H1BS IF WE'RE TO BE ABLE TO STAY IN BUSINESS AND "PAY TAXES"
Working really hard here to deny you're making a big deal out of nothing. Even if those 5 years were pet projects for /dpt/, you still did something.
It is rare for the division/group seeking the candidate to actually write the requirements. HR is banging together two rocks to put it together. Me, the guy who is interviewing you, only cares what you can do. Just say "yes" or "9/10" whenever the drone questions you.
>syadmin sounding position posted in sysadmin section
>working knowledge of Linux CLI required
>working knowledge of scripting/web development required
>in-depth knowledge of cpanel etc
>turns out to be a $20/hr phone jockey job
>DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT FIT THE REQUIREMENTS YOU WILL BE BLACKLISTED REGIONALLY
He's not wrong.
Companies post entry level type positions asking for mid-senior level skills and experience, and then set the wage at something like $15/hr.
Obviously any American with those skills would be making double that, so they get no "qualified" applicants, and then import pajeet to do the entry level job for Taco Bell tier money.
That is one of the things that Trump is working to change, I believe they're moving the salary floor to something over $75k.
clearly someone has never searched for a job in his life
It's been around for thousands of years
>That is one of the things that Trump is working to change
Good
Never has happened. Stop trying to justify your unemployment, you sponge.
>That is one of the things that Trump is working to change
>Trump

He doesn't. But, the legislation is out there. "120k" and "h1b" if you give a shit.
I'm not his biggest fan, but it is in the works:

If you have 1 or more of their 'requirements' you can safely apply without hassle.
HR don't know what they are looking for 80% of the time.
In Australia it's more like
>$45-55k
So it's never happened?
Because I'm not seeing a link in your reply.
>AUSD
>relevant
fuck off. Your wages, rent prices, literally everything is inflated. $50k AUSD will get you the same purchasing power 20k USD will get you somewhere in the US.
Why not go to some hyperinflated african shithole where you can earn 1 trillion a day and then post on Sup Forums how you are a fucking trillionaire you stupid fucking kangaroo fucking autistic australian chink cock sucking cunt
For those with MBA and a couple years networking experience:

Strewth, you ok little fella?
>go to school for a CIS degree on a free ride
>no work experience
>no certs
>get a job for $50k/year right out of college
>no debt, don't even know what to do with most of my money
my god ... who ever wrote that text should get shot
is this an indian company based in the US or something?! what the fuck is going on there
I seriously doubt any job would have a posting requiring more than 5 years of work experience.
Apply anyway. Who cares if you're missing 1 or 2 years the most important thing is actually having experience in the first place.
>Massive outsourcing of entry level jobs
>More people competing desperately for fewer jobs
Gee I wonder why they have high standards?
Might have to just accept that IT is a dying field unless you become a Silicon Valley memester.
the IT company I work for is hiring 1000 people over the next few years
>don't even know what to do with most of my money
Invest it and retire young.
meme company
do you brag in front of homeless people how comfy is your bed, or how much food do you eat? i guess not, you wouldn't be this much of a dick, why then do you do basically the same thing here?
I guess my point is you're doing something wrong. I'm not special. I got my job by applying for it on indeed. I had no certs and no experience. Just my shitty degree from a no-name school.
Most people I know stuck in job hunt hell are only stuck there because they refuse to look for jobs outside of their state because they're afraid of being away from mommy and daddy.
i know that feel, except i'm not working for peanuts
I could've gotten a higher paying meme job in a meme city but we all know how that goes when it comes to cost of living
inb4
>dude just commute lmao
If you can do the job then apply. I don't think I've met the "requirements" for any job I've gotten.

"regional blacklist"
do you retards actually believe this
the only blacklist is within the company itself, or the range of the corporation, not every single job ever in your country/city
retards
location, location, location
>all these niggas don't know about the booming IT markets in the midwest and south
I think if they list anything past like 5 years the requirement is probably bullshit. They're looking to screen out people who aren't really interested or confident in their abilities.
>tfw they actually mean it when they ask for 5 years in embedded software
>that experience
>40k/yr
>Phoenix AZ, a populous city

Fuck me mate, calm down. You don't have to be so salty. We are too full for you to live here, but you can still visit.
The worst thing is 9 time out of 10 they end up hiring someone from within the company and completely waste all the other applicants time. You are going through all this trouble and stress just so they can fill in their HR forms proving they did due dilligence
Where do you look for jobs? What jobs can you get with no degree and Linux as an only experience?
>visit
FUCK
OFF
WE'RE
FULL
>drumpf will save me

He's not entirely wrong. Really rich people usually choose to live somewhere nice in a 3rd world country while being paid dollars. Inflation is a bitch.
>$0.02 has been deposited into your account.
>be me
>walk into programming interview
>can you implement erasthenes sieve?
>okay
>get hired
Just look for junior dev positions, hard to find sometimes unless you are willing to move though.
I guess I'm lucky because I have richfag parents who paid for me to fly to an interview because there were no entry level dev positions where i used to live.
Guess what im saying is op, have you tried having rich parents?
Liar
reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
All you guys need to do is lie, but make sure you have the idea on the industry you're trying to get into unlike most pajeets do. We got a pajeet who applied for a draftsman/3d visualizer that doesn't even know how to make a line in autocad.
Did you hire him or not, you racist?
If you're not rich you can drive.
If you're poor, instead of a hotel stay at a campsite. They'll have showers and stuff and it shouldn't run you more than $15 or so a night.
If you're having trouble getting a job, expand your search to a 500+ mile radius. Easily driveable in a day, and if you really want to stay in your hometown, you can move back once you have some cash saved up and a job set up.
wow the media mind control hit this one particularly hard.
>people actually believe Trump is a liar.
it's an alternative fact
>the earth being round was an alternative fact
This. It's absolutely repulsive how moronic some people are with job listings.
My job requires an mba and I only have a bachelor’s of science, which is completely unrelated.
The only skill one needs to land a good job is the ability to persuade.
t. Scott Adamas
Lol well yeah. It's not exactly difficult. If you aren't persuasive you won't make it in life anyhow and you deserve to starve
t. commie
this makes no sense. Why would the jews want an atheist party to take over? I'm sure the atheists would go after the jews once they were done killing all the christians
talk shit, regional do not hire lists are retarded but employers threaten with them all the time
>apply for a job online
>go in for an interview
>can you reverse a linked list
>show how to reverse a linked list
>start making six figures
Stop looking at shit companies.
Jews are a race and a religion my man, also I dont remember the exact number but quite a few, possibly the majority of the Russian leadership was also Jewish.
could be a coincidence but who really knows.
Well there's always judges who'll block anything he does for the american people
>lost popular vote by miles
>crying about shills
you're more likely to be a kremlin shill, mate
...
big city sheep people suffering massive groupthink
muh popular vote aka tyranny of the majority
I have never worked (and never will) because I'm rich, but, if there are so many jobs like that, Why can't you post the link for even a single one? I think your shit is fake.
>go in for an interview
you already lost me
Keep Sup Forums in Sup Forums
suck the corny shit from my asshole buddy we're having a conversation :)
How am I a commie? If you can't sell you're an aspie, that doesnt say anything about my political ideology
>How am I a commie? If you can't sell you're an aspie, that doesnt say anything about my political ideology
>people who dont meet my critera deserve to die by starvation
how do you not see the parallels?
im gona die
have fun with your new pajeet pals
they're entry level jobs though
I'm likely going to try to get an entry-level IT job soon.
Would 2 years of working at a retail office supplies place as a 'bench tech/team lead' (and maybe a bonus cert if I can afford it) be enough to skip 'call center' and do something akin to 'desktop support' instead? I mean, really, I was already doing both, to an extent, and am very confident about the skills involved, both technical and customer service.
The main obstacle to finding - rather, keeping - a job for me is simply being able to not get fired for being 7 minutes late.
Seriously.
I'm trying to see a specialist right now for what appears to be Narcolepsy, but I'm seriously considering if I could get a quicker diagnosis for something like ADHD-PI (similar symptoms) for the time being. It's depressing that I feel like the only real obstacle I have with work is some pills for EDS and ''accommodation'' regardless of my actual work quality and quantity; it doesn't help that this medical bullshit is taking forever and poverty doesn't speed up the process one bit.
Will mentioning a disability increase my chances to get hired at certain places or should it just be hidden until I get hired? Regardless, I feel like if I apply now, though, I absolutely WILL get fired for tardiness and burn potential opportunities.
I'm probably about to lose my fast food job for related reasons. It's great.
>(1)My computer was working just fine yesterday, but ever since I got here this morning it won't turn on!
>(2)Every time I try to print something everything works fine on the computer, but the printer doesn't even try to print!
>(3)I can't connect to the internet!
>(4)Help, I think the internet is broken! Every time I try to go to any website, the same web-page shows up telling me I won a prize!
>(5)Ever since lunchtime, the text on websites works fine but the pictures never load!
If you can figure these out, entry level IT jobs will be a breeze. State the first question you'd ask them(more than 2 questions irritates them), the most likely issue, and the best solution.
Dont be a pussy just submit your application
My first job requires 5 years of experience with asp.net mvc ef and wpf yet they hired and i barely know shit. I just stackoverflowed my first 6 months
If you can't generate value you're going to die. But I'm not going to kill you. Ultimately incompetence is a slow form of suicide.
What are ya OP? A FAST FOOD EMPLOYEE?
>tfw its been 2 months since trump was elected and not one single new job has been brought back yet.
Military is expanding a shit ton
