Can you help me get this below $1000 NZ while still maintaning the same performance?

Thanks
Is there any way to easily batch download Twitter and Instagram photos?
Hey guys
When should I consider getting an AMP or DAC?
I have an Aorus gaming 7 Motherboard and it says it has an on-board Amp.I have an Audio technica ath-m50x as my headphone.
The volume is literally blasting my eardrums even at 5% system sound and I'm hearing a very minute hissing/static when there's nothing playing in the background.
Yes, install Greasemonkey and find (or write) a script to do it.
>below $1000
>the gpu alone is over $1000
uhuh
to make it 5x cheaper would basically mean rethinking every part
But can you do it?
no, there is no way to make a machine with similar performance for NZ$1000
not the other If you're willing to rob a computer parts store then yeah.
From what I saw from your list , you just put on the most expensive parts then call it a day.
>high volume with low software volume
>noise when nothing playing
your hardware/master volume is too high, turn it down
Are SSD's a meme considering modern operating systems do a good job at doing ram caching, pre and superfetching etc..?
7700K, 5820K or R7-1700?
They're all around the same price here.
I'm a fan of overclocking so I don't really like the 1700 in that sense but it's got much better multicore performance.
The 6C/4.7 1C I've got right now scores ~1015, and that takes a 7700K 5GHz to beat so I don't know if such a small upgrade is going to be satisfying.
Apart from playing CS (in which I already get a decent framerate of around 230-250 but am still bottlenecked by the CPU as the fps pretty much scales linearly from 2.67 to 4.5GHz.) my workloads are mostly parallel, including x265 rendering and raytracing.
I have a 360mm clc so cooling isn't a problem and I'll probably get the RX580 or Vega later on.
Fuck no. SSDs are the one upgrade you don't want to skip
What are some tips to help me get away with it?
SSDs are the single best upgrade a computer can get.
Wear a black stocking over your head
How security heavy is the average pc parts store?
Fuckloads of cameras and a very small chance of an alarm. It depends on the store and what they usually keep.
What device can I use to disable all the security systems form a distance?
Is it legal now to buy disk version of win7 and use it?
Linux isn't the way as well as win10, because it is not my PC. Pirated win7 is also can't be used
I need to login remotely to pc via ssh, start a process, gtfo and come back after many hours to collect results, could anyone tell me how to do it or point me to a decent source that doesn't involve reading a 4k pages manual?
run the program in tmux or screen
for example;
1. connect to server
2. run tmux/screen
3. run program
4. disconnect from server
5. connect again
6. attach to tmux/screen session
7. ??? (back to where you where in 3.)
startprocess &
If I have a Nvidia brand GPU (bought from Nvidia store not EVGA or anything) what program should I use to change fan speed curve, and clock speed should I want to?
Do you bass boost enabled? Don't need a DAC/AMP for ath-m50x.
How do you download every image in a thread on computer (without renaming the files)
Clover has the function built in, but 1) I have to use fucking clover, and 2) it renames the files
>is it legal to buy a product from a store and use it for its intended purpose
you could background and disown it (important!)
but then you no longer have interactive access to the program, which might not be suitable for what he's doing
tmux/screen keeps interactive access to the program, making them much more flexible
not to mention both of them support multiple "windows", so you can easily run mulitple interactive programs at once on the same ssh session
Norton Anti-Security
i am currently trying shit out on the laptop, using & i kinda lose interactivity, i want to check from time to time at which iteration the algorithm currently is, my bad for not explaining better
thanks i'll try that
how do you do that senpai
im not that user but I have a logitech gayman headset and I perpetually have windows volume at something like 10%
the headset itself has a physical volume control but all it does is change the Windows volume slider
When I plug my headphones into the headphone jack on my laptop, the sound will often times bleed out.
I rarely have the volume on high (it doesn't go over 40 often), I just want to know how this
1) Expand images
2) Ctrl-S
You can expand all images quickly using the js console if you prefer that.
webm related
you can think of them as like vnc/rdp for terminals
>writing "exit"
>not just using ctrl+d
Pleb.
I had to RMA my PSU and motherboard. How likely is it other components are damaged as well, and if the PSU did in fact damage other parts like the GPU or CPU will their warranties cover them? It's been about 90 days.
Pic related is a black & tan I poured for you.
thanks tmux is exactly what i needed
God damn dude , I feel sorry for the kid.
Does the Facebook messenger android app store the login information of accounts which have been logged in on it anywhere?
I have a program called "None" activated on my windows firewall. Does anyone know what it is?
I don't get it
Oh never mind I get it now
thanks
will ryzen drive the price of intel cpus down?
I'm on a windows 10 system host, I install virtual box and installed linux on the virtual machine, now when I put the cpu on the 99% of the speed (@2,4 Ghz) through Windows,..the linux guest (in cpuinfo) get @2.4 Ghz,..and it's ok,..later I turn off the VM and set (always through Windows) the cpu speed at 100 %, and I enable the Turbo boost of my cpu and it goes @ 3.4 Ghz,...now if a restart the VM and go to cpuinfo,..the speed is always @2.4 Ghz....why?..why,...no @3.4 Ghz?
No one knows. Some will say the prices will fall, some say they won't. But the honest answer is, no one really knows.
Should you wait? Yes, if you can, absolutely! You won't lose anything if you wait. You will either get a better deal, or nothing will change.
My Logitech speakers 2.1 are showing their age and i'm getting coil whine from them in the middle of the night, from time to time when i unplug them from the power cable, my computer boots up immediately. This doesn't happen on every single time but rather randomly.
I do have wake on keyboard but i never get near it when i unplug the speakers.
Why the fuck is this happening?
My PC has been really slow the last year, starting programs or booting can take minutes, common freezes, sometimes doesnt even start
Reinstalled windows, nothing changed, so I was wondering how can I detect what part is causing the problem? (No spare parts or friends with spare parts to just check one by one)
No
hard disk most likely
Asking again since I got no reply last thread
I have a
How do I initialise an UDP-Interface?
I'm on windows 7.
What is a good chat messaging service that i can use with normies?
I'm being forced into group project in uni and they are pushing for facebook, by fuck that garbage. I m looking for something like Skype but without being complete cancer .
Thanks, I'll check that
what should I look for when buying a monitor?
Panel type, resolution, size, color depth and?
Slack to hide your power level, Signal to show it.

Office 2013 or 2016?
>IP

seems legit
mpv plays fine, and no processes appear to be using much CPU when I check, yet somehow temperatures always reach max when playing?
It doesn't matter user they are essentially the same thing.
Whichever is cheaper and/or easier to get.
Integrated vidya card?
Hi,
what is the "best" software to rip audio from video files?
Is there a version of the snipping tool that allows you to scroll down a webpage to snip a larger area? Sick of taking full screen captures and cropping out what I want.
Libraoffice
Hi
How would you insert the result of a sql's query into a spinner in Java ?
I try things using the oracle documentation but there are too much errors.
There're browser extensions for webpage screenshots.
>Libraoffice equivalent of Access
LIL
Intel Iris.
This is a fairly recent development though.
Is there any way to set up Google Chrome to ignore my location without getting a VPN? It constantly tries to localize everything to my country but I want to see the American or international versions by default.
How do, like, quantum computers even work, man
Nope. They don't even have to go through google chrome just to check your location. They just have to look at your IP address.
Nimbus
There are extensions that hide geolocation tracking. Or you could try to change your DNS. I'm not sure if the DNS thing works.
They're not as impressive as you might think. They can't do very much yet, and they won't do magic even when they're better developed. A qbit is basically able to hold a 1 and zero at the same time, and be put through logic gates that impact it and produce a likely result. When you use multiple qbits together, their combined ability to hold information increases exponentially, which is useful in completing certain types of problems with less resources
ffmpeg.
Doesn't look like any major difference to me, I'd just get whichever's cheapest.
Prices from Intel very unlikely. Promo deals at individual retailers maybe.
Guests in VMs often get hardware details wrong. Disregard.
MSI Afterburner.
My motherboard (ASRock z170 Extreme4) has a preset turbo setting that runs at 4.2 ghz on my 6600k.
Checking the voltage in CPU-Z, it is between 1.1-1.35 volts. Is this a safe range?
My files have disappeared but are still taking up space. How do I recover them?
Android 6.0.1
1.35 seems a little high but not dangerous. If it's available in your mobo it's probably supported and safe. Just make sure you have good cooling for it
The cooler is a Cryorig H7, and the temps are good. I wonder why it's so generous with vcore though.
Thanks.
What's the difference between KDE Neon's User and User LTS editions?
Is there a way for GCC to let me put separators on my number constants? I want that to make my code more readable.
For example, putting
variable = 0x0123'4567'0123'4567
instead of
variable = 0x0123456701234567
Absolutely not. I think your power source has reached its current limit and it's dropping voltage to compensate. You might burn it if you keep it plugged.
Typical logical voltage levels are 1.8V, 3.3V and 5V. If CPU voltages aren't any of those, there's something wrong.
Redpill me on proprietary software and why Windows is evil
What is the best way to send a message from a PC to an Android phone? Let's say I want to send a URL from my PC to an Android phone so I can browse the website on my phone. Kind of like a shared clipboard of sorts.
My friend said that all cats think about all day is killing stuff, is that true?
I refuse to believe that my cat is such a bloodthirsty creature.
I don't know if it's the /best/ way, and it's a paid app, but AutoRemote can do what you mentioned and much more.
Quickest: Generate a QR code, display it on your PC screen and scan it with your phone's camera.
Yeah, use C++14 as your language.
Other than that, sorry, you're out of luck.
They don't think about murder all day but hunting prey is pretty big on cats. They kill things even if they're not hungry. I mean even a lot of cat toys are designed to mimic prey.
what do I have to do, to properly update global packages?
"npm outdated -g" shows, that some packages have a newer version, than what is configured as "wanted" currently.
I know in a project I could modify the package.json file, but no idea what to do here
Why does Swift use optional types? What benefit does this have over the more conventional types?
npm update -g
>npm update -g
yes, but how do I configure global packages to the newer version, like pm2 in this case
[code|
Package Current Wanted Latest Location
npm 4.4.0 4.4.0 4.3.0
pm2 2.4.0 2.4.0 2.4.2
fuck me, can't into code tags
not sure what you mean. did update -g not work? pm2 is still outdated?
Does anyone know how can I blinky in a NRF51 using apache's mynewt? Total noob here, the official "get started" is very confusing for me...
Yes, when installing pm2 initially, it configured the package installation to not apply updates with possible breaking changes in the future, as far as I know.
In a project, I could go and modify the package.json file, but I don't know what the equivalent thing for global packages would be.
I "updated" it now by (re)installing pm2 again
If everyone on the internet already switched from ipv4 to ipv6 is having ipv4 stack in os still needed? If (theoretically) such option would be available, could I just uninstall all drivers/kernel modules used for ipv4 connectivity and expect my system to still work and connect to internet/lan ?
When watching video streams in 1080p the Flash player works fine, but if I switch to HTML5 the frame drops considerably. Is my GPU or my CPU to blame?
