Cooper Hughes
Let's transcoding bois.
Nathaniel Murphy
Is it true though?
Jordan Mitchell
the catch is in the English language. this can be understood in two ways
Lucas Sanders
Did WCD mods/admins also have such shite taste in music?
Christian Morales
Government got mad as hell that they couldn't get into HDB so they backdoored the entire internet so that they could get in
Joseph Robinson
No, it can't be. "More" is the key word.
Nathan Jones
>implying I should have any trust in this dumpster fire that is the current state of music trackers
Blake Sullivan
...
Jason Bell
refer to bottom of picture
Jace Brown
>tfw still not on BTN
Blake Moore

Xavier James
>losing more quality what did they mean by this
Eli Lee

Ryan Adams

Ethan Gray
now it's overrated
Hudson Sullivan
>that fringe >those eyebrows >that nose >that skin complexion why do you insist on posting gore to a SFW board?
Jaxon Brooks
>tfw I'm now crying as well god dammit
Jonathan Parker
I got in recently. It's pretty good. My main goal was PTP though, not BTN. I'm using BTN as a jumping ship to PTP.
Xavier Rogers
That is one ugly dude
Colton Davis
>tfw marflaming sent me my invite when I was wcd pu >tfw I can tell my grandkids about the golden age of private tracker recruitment
Aaron Martin
My main goal was BTN and im on PTP
I guess it depends on if you are into movies or tv more
maybe my tastes will change if movies start being good again
lots of documentaries and huge backlog on PTP though. What makes you want PTP more than BTN? Maybe I should cherish the tracker more than i currently do
Gavin Perez
you can join btn through ptp pu retard also film > tv
Daniel Jones
English sucks at determining the subject. it can be understood two ways
Ian Cook
tell us about the golden age like user? how long ago was this?
David Cook
>film > tv It hasn't been that way in a long time
Ethan Sanders
pleb
Josiah Perry
>golden age
You mean oink? wcd is clearly silver age.
Michael Baker
watch old stuff then have you seen every movie that has won the palm d'or?
Oliver Ward
No i'm serious though, all of the culturally important works seem to be coming from TV lately , no one goes 'to the movies' anymore.
Owen Martin
I only watch a couple of shitty TV shows that I could have gotten from any general tracker. I don't watch old TV shows, I don't even really like TV. I love all movies though, especially older ones.
Wyatt Richardson
Typical neo-/ptg/ female user here
Landon Barnes
if you don't go it doesn't mean that no one is going anymore faggot
Colton Richardson
The amount of old movies I have watched is very low, I'm sure there are some gems hidden there that I should try and find.
I'm not the kind of person that would watch something just because it won an award though - I find that most movies are just lame political statements that don't matter in the long run. The only kind of movies I like are the ones that help the viewer to understand reality better.
Ian Hernandez
we need a new one
Ryan Stewart
replace wcd with red and it's done
Elijah Wood
Only if English is your second language. >not that I care if it is
Juan Fisher
Don't you remember what it was like when movies were important? Friday night movie theatres were the PLACE TO BE. It's not like that anymore.
That makes sense then. TV gets great content though if were speaking about non-fiction. You should really browse through BTN for the low seeded stuff to see what kind of gems are on there. I think you might be surprised.
Andrew Bailey
it's easier to sift through all the shit if you watch acclaimed movies though you don't have to agree with them being good but at least you understand the current cultural zeitgeist of their time a bit better if they do just end up being vapid political statements
Joseph Clark
Don't let me stop you.
Jason Collins
user plz. i've been writing greentext stories and i bumped into countles examples if i bump into something, google it, find some grammar forum and their solution is a workaround then nope sorry, english is retarded
We're not talking about english in general or your faggot greentext, we're talking about a specific sentence in a specific context
Oliver Parker
awesome, bookmarked. thanks
Kevin Rogers
>citizen kane is number 1
Brody Jackson
>English is not my primary language >I don't understand it
Unsurprising. It can be a more difficult language to learn, but there's no ambiguity in the highlighted sentence.
Jayden Campbell
This What's up with Kane always hitting the top spots? I don't get it.
Benjamin Phillips
nope, sorry. "or" breaks it for you
James Hernandez
Its like Ocarina of Time being number 1 on video game charts. Just ignore it.
Ian Rogers
>doesn't know how many things Citizen Kane did first
It's filmography 101 in and of itself. There's so many 'firsts' in that movie.
Carson Clark
what is a public tracker comparable to private tracker in terms of retention, content, etc?
ill go first, rarbg and rutracker
Austin Wright
Enlighten me, user.
I would have thought the same if it wasn't because even professional film critics think this way.
E***L****
Luis Davis
I didn't say they were correct in thinking lossy>lossless = more loss.
If you were to write it long form it would be: >lossy formats cannot be converted to lossless formats. lossy formats cannot be converted to other lossy formats.
If you wanted to word it best you could say: >lossy format cannot be converted to lossy or lossless formats
But there isn't ambiguity for me as a native English speaker as it is written and context.
Christian Hall
>sign up for alpha ratio during free leech >down load about a TB worth of data >1:3 ratio boost >I got 80gb of up load credit
So I take it my AR account will not help me get into more elite torrent sites right because this is near ipt levels of joke ratio fluff.
Oliver Clark
replace or with and and see what happens you're on fucking Sup Forums and probably tried some programming. you should know the difference
William Miller
and "agreed upon" doesn't count
Ryder Cook
rutracker
Brandon Baker
You're just wrong
Gavin Ward
AR is for autosnatching, not much activity otherwise. There's also no invite forum on there.
Hunter Scott
yes!
Parker Carter
There are literally YIFY encodes on AR. I'm not even talking about x0r.
Levi Bell
it's a general tracker, people can upload whatever
Kayden Hughes
Orson Welles got creative control, the makeup and effects, deep focus shots, compositing, every camera trick of the day was used in one film, it wasn't shot in sequence (all old films before then were shot in order of playback), newsreel segments (spinning newspaper anybody?), planning shoots and planning cinematography (yes this was a first), the music was created alongside the filming (scores were written long after shooting in those days), the make-up for aging, shooting in rooms with a ceiling (even if it was just cloth to simulate), it was attacking a major figure of the day
But "and" doesn't work in context. I'm sorry English isn't Loglan. Suck it up.
Jackson Hernandez
it's natural for you but for someone who uses a more complicated grammar, especially one using different order of words, it might be problematic they explain this in schools for a reason
Ethan Russell
I wish I could start over
Hunter Ross
Sell your accounts for dosh
Parker Price
>it's natural for you I said it's going to be more difficult if English isn't your primary language. Twice.
I merely said don't blame the language for your shortcomings. It's plain to native speakers.
Adam Edwards
call staff faggots
Julian White
and i said twice that it's not about my shortomings but the idiotic English grammar
Adam Powell
>it's not that i don't understand english it's just that i don't understand english and that's english's fault
Whatever, Putin.
Sebastian Jones
>my language is absolutely perfect in any way wew
Jace Williams
Not what I said. Once again exposing your lack of understanding in English.
What I said is the failure is yours. You're the one thinking his language has cornered grammar. What language is your native language? Languages is a passion of mine and I'd love to make fun of you for it.
Xavier Watson
a native eng speaker and he still doesn't get what i'm saying...brilliant
Lucas Young
>it's not that I don't understand English >it's just that I don't understand English
Christopher Bennett
try again
Noah Rivera
It's the Citizen Kane of movies
Kevin Hughes
>implying I suggested English was perfect
Never happened. Nice projection. If you have a real defensible point, feel free to state it plainly. If you're capable. It's not my job to guess what you mean in my language.
Easton Jackson
nice damage control. but you still can't analyze 16 words without your "agrred upon" bias
Ian Harris
I have no idea what you mean. Do you lack the idea of context in your language? Tell me what language exists where context doesn't play a role.
Charles Wilson
>meme tracker image that doesn't even make sense
Jacob Fisher
>I have no idea what you mean you should've said that from the very beginning
Samuel Morgan
...
Jackson Scott
>you are unable to convey your idea in a language >blame the language >blame the people trying to understand you >whatever you do don't try to clarify anything
