Stop with this bait. It has NO FUCKING DRIVERS BY DEFAULT. You literally must use wifi via USB to download drivers with the updates since ethernet and laptop wifi is doa, or use a DVD/USB with drivers or another computer.
Linux works immediately unless you fell for meme distros and DEs. Anything Ubuntu based with a modern DE will work with more hardware by default than any windows version. And not depending on updates to fetch drivers is superior to having to download them especially in cases when you aren't installing an OS on a system with networking.
I didn't have any of those problems. Generic drivers worked just fine for me to download everything necessary via windows update. The only issue I had was with the nvidia default profile not being set to high performance after an update like 3 months later. While that's annoying, it took less than a minute to diagnose and fix.

Installing Linux on an HDD takes less than 15 minutes, so it would take even less on an SSD. Even arch can be installed in 20 minutes on an HDD. Nice try, pajeet, but spreading misinformation around here won't work.
