How do I know if my ISP monitors torrents?

I just switched to AT&T to save money, do I literally have to download tons trap porn to figure out if they're watching me?

they are watching you faggot, don't openly torrent

private tracker or something similar or get busted

if you could pay 2$ per month to download torrents totally anonymously, would you pay for it?
You could also download torrents from networks where torrenting is blocked.

Force encrypted transfers. Also deep packet inspection by ISP's is illegal in most parts of the developed word; not sure about the US though.

Call them and ask.

Buy a VPN

I would pay that. Sadly I have to pay 3.33$ a month for that so its out of the question

what about canada?

Att uverse here.
Never really had an issue.
But I don't torrent often and mostly non-popular music and shows.

i forgot to add
if you are downloading videos you could watch them without downloading them on your pc

this.

also go to some coffe bar and torret from there XD jokes on them for letting open WiFi

or use Tor with direct downloads

if u dont want to pay for VPN try to find some cracked ones, never used those tho, but u know maybe it will save you few bucks a month

They'll send you a love letter if you do something naughty and you get 6 strikes by law before they can prosecute you.

Guess my ISP don't really give a fuck. I've downloaded maybe 2.5TB from torrents over the years and thus far my isp has looked the other way. No letters/e-mail, nothing. Course I don't really do anything to cause alarm, for example, I'm sure that if I were to look at Isis propaganda or get plans for bomb making that'd be a different thing.

They are just waiting to bill you for shit load of money and take your house

What if I download 7 trap pornos in a day?

Just torrent with no precautions for a while and see if they send you a notice. If you get one take precautions. I've never heard of anything actually happening besides getting three strikes and being refused service or getting shut off for 24 hour time outs. I'm in the US and surprisingly my ISP doesn't give a fuck. I've pirated shit with no precautions with them for damn near a decade.

...

Your ISP doesn't look to see if you're violating copyrights, they don't want to lose your business.
When you torrent, anyone can see your IP in the swarm. There are companies that just grab every IP connected to certain torrents. They can determine which ISP you are using form the IP address, and then send your ISP a notice.

They probably are. Just use a VPN and you'll be fine.

This is what usually happens. Not necessarily your ISP looking. Just use a VPN and you're fine.

If you're a poorfag, jump around free VPN trial periods

att customer here, they don't seem to give a shit about torrenting. I will say their modem/router sucks ass for high traffic wifi, as the wifi part will overheat and crap out during high traffic use, like torrenting over wifi or syncing large directories

>how am streaming works
>what am cache
retard

If you like them that much, then you'll love jail!
