Black Mirror Tech

Black Mirror Tech

Let's talk about the best tech related show in the history of mankind.

It hat some pretty comfy futuristic tech. Will any of that ever become reality? I'd love to have one of these eggus for example.

Why would you want to have a human trapped in an egg? It's literally a slave.

So, there's nothing wrong with owning slaves.

The best one, and the one I've been dreaming of since I was a child, is the eye-recording-and-playback thingie from The Entire History of You

im not sure if i want that .. the episode did a really good job of convincing me that this is actually a bad thing

You could literally see a book, save it on your memory and read it on the go anytime you want, studying this way would be fucking awesome.

well the problem is everyone does it so there is actually no advantage to it

There's no advantage to sucking dicks but you still do it daily.

that's a really good point. testing would have to be different to account for stuff. Like how open notes tests are often more difficult

...

You do realize how bad it could be:
Like you providing proof against yourself without your consent, or corporations owning your memories.
The one before that made me don't watch porn for a month.

>dude computers lmao
9.5/10
also reddit likes to be horrified about how we live in "le waldo episode xdddd"

wrong, just because everyone can, don't mean everyone will do it. Most people will waste their time instead of studying, everytime.

Anyone and everyone can use the internet to better themselves, but here you are still shitposting on a Thai typewriting enthusiasts forum.

That episode aboit the Jap dev that makes a fucking video game on a device that turns milliseconds to hours.

Raise a good point about tech being used for entertainment and porn more than for learning, but this lucid-dream like device could maybe make you a master of any subject in a small amount of time

> make you a master of any subject in a small amount of time
I don't think so, to learn large amounts of information, we need lots of attention, and that device doesn't provide that.

Of course it would help by making studying a lot more comfy and convenient, but that alone wouldn't make it magically easy to master something.

I think that it can induce feelings, like horror in the Jap's game. Inducing immense interest, motivation and then surrounding you with material relevant to your study or even people.

This would make it better than studying irl.

>made me don't watch porn for a month.
So it not only made you think, it also improved you life quality. What a great series indeed.

>just because everyone can, don't mean everyone will do it.
You mean like with the internet?

How powerful would that egg have to be to be able to simulate months of human brain activity in a few minutes?

More powerful than 1000 chicken eggs.

Back to bed kids.
