Fidelio X2's
Xavier Hill
No problem, I just saw a comment asking about noise-cancellation saying it was on another description for the headphones, so I was just wondering.
Luke Fisher
This is exactly what you want.
Nathaniel Edwards
Does this little plastic part tear apart after a while, or is it more tough? I know I had an issue with my A900X doing this eventually.
Jeremiah Roberts
HD650 or HD600 I'd recommend them up to $200 Nope
Anthony Lopez
X2's are crap. Go for Sennhiser HD600. they're pretty much the the best deal under $1000.
Jace Russell
shut the fuck up you little pussy faggot. if i saw you in public i would beat you to a pulp.

I might just replace my cable on my pair of se215 but I want to look into some wireless options since I use them for the gym, and I find the cable breaks every 3 months or so.

Did I get meme'd buying these?

i want to get headphones just for gaming only and or occasional music production. I am currently using superlux hd668b but i want to upgrade, im looking at
Philips SHP9500
or
Audio Technica ATH-AD700X advice?
Camden Williams
Its a removable cable, so it doesn't matter. You can just buy one for a couple bucks.
Jaxson Cruz
700x more comfy
though 9500 have a removable cable so are somewhat more durable in the long run
Adrian Reyes
sound wise are they similar or way different
Ryder Thompson
between the 9500 and 700x? yeah theyre pretty damn similar. treble is slightly less bright on the 700x
desu just get whatever is cheaper
Brandon King
if the 9500 has bass then ill go with it, idk why but i like how it looks while the 700x looks like it will pressure the top of the dead. when i mean bass i mean pronounced bass that isnt overpowering but good bass. you know. not shitty non existent airy bass that after eqing, still barely has any bass.
Logan Moore
I already have HD600. Why would I want an inferior HD800?
Mason Parker
Sennheiser HD600 or HD650.
Schiit Fulla 2.
Aaron Hall
> idk why but i like how it looks while the 700x looks like it will pressure the top of the dead. nah, unless your head is really small theyre incredibly comfortable. both headphones are really light either way.
>if the 9500 has bass then ill go with it >you know. not shitty non existent airy bass that after eqing, still barely has any bass.
yeah no neither of those headphones have much low end.
stick with your 668b's and just EQ the highs down, or save for some X2's.
Michael Russell
At Fidelio X2's range, I'd suggest Sennheiser HD598se.
Andrew Morris
Yeah, you got memed.
They're an one-trick dog. Noise cancellation.
Otherwise horrible sounding for their price.
Evan Butler
>a bit more bass than treble but not lacking either
Christian Parker
I'll always suggest neutral-ish response, no matter what.
HD598se have some bass, unlike the (unmodded) HD558.
Jacob Jackson
wouldnt it be better to just get a dac/amp then? to connect to the computer and control them with? >X2 >$240 muh heart, muh soul muh wallet desu
Zachary Moore
That has plenty of bass.
Carter Gomez
>I'll always suggest neutral-ish response, no matter what. >Suggesting neutral when people specifically ask about v-shaped.
Why?
Juan White
Everyone's recommending Sennheiser.
It really that great compared to X2?
Isaiah Sanchez
It's just a neutral headphone. If you like bass, you'll likely will find it lacking and have to add it through EQ.
It will also require an amp to drive.
Julian Thomas
Because people who think that they want anything else than a neutral signature are simply misguided.
Once used to it, neutral is the best.
Other signatures are a scam, to get people to buy headphones after testing them for short periods of time in shops.
Sebastian Carter
It depends on what you want, Sennheiser is an extremely popular and loved company so it's no surprise they're seen everywhere. Not to mention the 600s/650s are regarded as some of, if not the best "all round" headphones under $1000
Jack Brooks
Believe it or not user there are people out there who want nothing but have their headphones/speakers shake their head.
Adrian Mitchell
>It really that great compared to X2? Yes. HD600/HD650 are absolutely awesome. Go look reviews up. Read/watch until you're convinced. Shouldn't be hard to achieve.
>It will also require an amp to drive. Just to drive loud. They're low-sensitivy, which yields low volume unless there's some amp providing gain.
The low sensitivity helps them not sound like garbage when plugged to sources that have poor power budget.
Jackson Walker
>Believe it or not user there are people out there who want nothing but have their headphones/speakers shake their head.
I'm aware. And steering them away from that madness is the right thing to do.
Does everything sound forward or is it just me going deaf?
Logan Robinson
can someone please post that chart of the anime characters wearing real life headphones?
Jeremiah Russell
You're a fag lol
Austin Allen
I may go for the HD600. Is it really drastic or noticeably different compared to the 650 from your experience?
Isaac Cox
I own the SHP 9500's and CB-1's, and I find myself reaching for the CB-1 more often when I'm listening to music. Am I crazy senpai?
Matthew Baker
Not him but IMO if you already have the 650 it's not really worth the buy
Unless you're THAT fussy about neutrality don't bother
Caleb Hill
I don't have either, just wondering if it'd be better to save for the more pricey of the two since 650 seems far above my desired budget.
Caleb Lee
Which headphones?
Jeremiah Campbell
If the 650s are outside your budget just go for the 600s
HD 650
Gavin Thomas
Nah, you just like the CB's more
James Miller
I'm going to make this short and sweet
I'm looking for headphones that are like my M40x but better in terms of sound quality. I like the neutrality of these headphones. Id use these headphones for my laptop and phone, and I'd prefer closed.
I'm from the US and my budget is $250.
Jason Jones
They're almost exactly the same, the higher number doesn't make them better.
Aaron Nelson
I only have the HD600, so can't really comment on HD650.
Going by reviews and FR, the HD650 sacrifices just a little neutrality but provides significantly more bass and slightly more forward mids.
I do plan on getting HD650 at some point to thoroughly evaluate them, but I only got the HD600 a month ago (from 2 years of HD598), so maybe in a year or so? Gotta keep my audio expenses under control.
Anthony White
>HD 650 Headphone experience w/chihaya: - HD598 w/motherboard amp: Do not like aoi tori. - HD598 w/fulla2 || w/modi2u+magni2u: Love aoi tori. - HD598 any combination: Do not like nemurihime. - HD600 any combination: Love nemurihime and aoi tori.
Austin Butler
You could wait until the HD 650 goes on sale again. I got mine for $300 on Amazon just last week. I highly recommend them. They'll go on sale again soon enough.
They do have more bass, but it's not that signicant
Justin Gray
Significant, even.
Owen Wilson
I'd say 3~5dB is pretty significant.
Jayden Murphy
How do hd600s sound being driven by a smartphone?
Gabriel Stewart
Is it worth getting into GGN if I'm already in UGC? I only joined about a week ago
Xavier Turner
yes
Daniel Fisher
alright guys, here. Think I made my decision. Thanks for all the friendly advice and goodnight.
Lucas Fisher
Sleep well user, enjoy your new headphones
Austin Anderson
>How do hd600s sound being driven by a smartphone?
Good. Also not loud, but comfortable enough volume.
I use them with my Oneplus3, for deresute and love live school idol festival.
Just keep in mind it will likely take you a week or two of use (don't EQ or bass boost!) to get your ears/brain used to them. Particularly true if coming from v-shaped or bright headphones, they'll just sound odd at first.
I love mine... nifty AF with the aux inputs and outputs. Feels really solid. The volume wheel is awesome. Sounds unreal for something USB powered; almost indistinguishable from my modi2u+magni2u schiit stack.
Caleb Green
It's also very cute
Jaxon Hernandez
For any given song, Sennheiser HD600.
Alexander Turner
Yeah, it's adorable in a way.
Fetishy item. My precious.
Jaxon Adams
HD 650, they're awesome for rock/hard rock stuff
Dylan Rogers
Take it it's not on any other sites then if it's new. Was trying to fit it into one Amazon prime package. Thanks for the suggestion. Might get the one currently in my Amazon cart and keep my eye on the Fulla for a sale later.
Xavier Cruz
Schiit does prefer direct sales, and they can sell cheaper thanks to that.
Fiio e10k is pretty good in its price range. It's just now that there's the fulla2 around, it's not as good value anymore.
>Might get the one currently in my Amazon cart and keep my eye on the Fulla for a sale later.
That'd be only a sidegrade. Do not really recommend doing that, unless you need a second dac/amp for use elsewhere (work), keeping your primary one at home.
My setup is Schiit Modi2u + Magni2u with HD600 and HD598, at home, and HD380 Pro + Fulla 2 at work.
If you're buying schiit, you're better off buying directly. They have two years warranty and a 2-week refund policy, so it should be alright.
Hunter Watson
Fiio e10k: Max Output Power: 200mW(32Ω) (at higher impedance it's unknown, couldn't find a table)
Fulla2: Maximum Power, 16 Ohms: 550mW RMS per channel Maximum Power, 32 ohms: 360mW RMS per channel Maximum Power, 50 ohms: 230mW RMS per channel Maximum Power, 300 ohms: 40mW RMS per channel
Going for the Fulla. Can't wait to see how much of a change this and the HD600 is from my A900X.
Gabriel Cruz
>A900X to HD600 Start fetching some FLACs if you don't have any. Will also be a good time for spotify premium trial/subscription.

Lincoln Ross
A900X
Carson Morales
... right. (A900X)
124.4 dB w/fulla2 (plenty of margin)
Probably just a little difference though, they're low impedance and high sensitivity. Seem to work well with any sources.
Hey all, My HyperX Cloud died yday, so I'm looking for a new one. I liked it a lot and I wanna get something similar. Obv I don't need a mic.

If anything, I may end up just buying a brand new set if I miss it too much.
Ayden Robinson
HD380 Pro, HD569.
Also, you 100% sure you need closed?
Connor James
>I play games, so all around I suppose?
Neutral.

You sure? Open are going to be more comfortable _and_ sound better.
Closed advice: Open advice: HD600 or HD650.

Can you help me? i saw a lot of falsifications on eBay and others...

Was looking trying higher quality Headphones, but wanted to start on the lower price side first. For me the big deciding factors are them having No/Low Sound leakage and good Comfort(for prolonged use). Was thinking of getting the AKG K72's
Really appreciate any input you guys may have

What's wrong with just grabbing from amazon?
Carter Bell
Beyerdynamic DT880 or DT990 depending on what frequency response you like (flat vs V respectively)
Well, I'm no expert at this topic, but isolation is important to me. Also I don't want others to hear what I'm listening to. I checked the prices of all those 4 and the cheapest is 2x the price I bought my HXC 1.5yrs ago. Do you have some cheaper recommendations?
Nicholas Jackson
>the cheapest is 2x the price I bought my HXC 1.5yrs ago. HXC is gaymer hardware. Not really comparable.
>Do you have some cheaper recommendations? There's the HD280, but honestly, cheaper is crap. While there's diminishing returns on money spent, there's also a minimum below which you're just throwing money away. The 380 are a major step up in sound quality and comfort.
>Well, I'm no expert at this topic, but isolation is important to me. Also I don't want others to hear what I'm listening to. Use at an open office, or a room with other people? Closed.
Otherwise (your own office, room alone), Open. Closed provides isolation in exchange for comfort and sound quality.
