is it possible to install OSX on a computer that isn't a mac, without an already existing mac?
is there any point? i ask only out of curiousity because i feel like it's odd to try and use only windows and linux without much experience on osx other than what i've touched in retail outlets.
You get a VM vdi file, run it in a VM, pass through your USB to the VM.

>i'm such a wintoddler that i spread an article of a retarded man just to make myself feel good you know it can merge when holding down option, right?

Joshua Carter
Are you mentally retarded or just a fucking idiot?
William Miller
Not him but in the last 10 years I can not remember a single time I actually had to merge or wanted to merge folders. Is it that I'm actually capable of creating a decent file structure or am I missing out on something?
Cameron Thompson
Google Hackintosh
Lincoln Scott
i'd punch the fuck out of my kid if he was acting like that.
>Is it that I'm actually capable of creating a decent file structure probably because i've never to merge files. still not sure what that means except for basic context.
Juan Allen
Osx is the pickiest piece of shit ive ever seen it wants specific components with sometimes special signatures and it really isnt worth all the reasearch. Just going on ebay and buying parts is much easier to make a stock mac pc if you want bragging rights for it
Eli Ward
This behavior seems right to me. If I'm replacing a directory with another directory why would I want it to merge? If I wanted it to merge I would move the contents of one directory into the other.
Besides, who uses a file manager on Linux. That said, what happens when you mv a dir on Linux onto another dir using the mv command without a trailing / or /* ? I don't think I've ever tried.
Owen Thompson
Oh look it's the folder merge guy. He drops this in every mac thread like he's dropping the mic. Meanwhile everyone else thinks he's a retard.
Christopher Jenkins
Circle the part of the image where it says "merging files"
Evan Howard
It has different behaviour which is described every time you try to do it. Not our fault people are always in haste and click through everything without reading.
Ethan Jones
Yes it's possible, Yes there is a point. What's you're describing is a Hackintosh build, there's an active community using PC hardware running OS X, it's good for people like me who use OS X exclusive software or just prefer the UI in general, just expect to sink some time into troubleshooting and buying compatible hardware.
I've been running a Hackintosh dual boot system for about 3 years.

Noah Sanders

Hunter Thomas
For the love of god I could not get sound working on my z270k and 6700 - the intel alc887 and all other methods on Tony's site I read through like 100 pages and reinstalled sierra like half that many. Ethernet works everthijg works but no audio.
