Help having problems with windows explorer keeps crashing each time i try to move files/drag them to a new folder
refreshing seems to take ages as well. I can open/watching movies fine.
run anti virus and full computer scans, nothing detected.
C drive has a spare 60GB
SSD spare 700 GM
16GM of RAM
windows 10, recently updated (last 2-3 days) issues happened before that though

yeah win10 has explorer issues they haven't fixed yet, currently the best solution is just use a third party file manager
not sure why its happened now though, been running fine ever since i switched. Had an update recently but pretty sure these issues started before the update though

Try mounting the drive externally to another machine. Can you read/write/delete this way? This confirms that your drive works.
Do you have the OS on it's own partition? It may be easier to hose off and clean install than try dubious troubleshooting tools. Also, don't trust a single shitty drive if you care about anything.

Windows 10 Explorer is just fine. Most likely OP installed some chink botnet software like a retard to thumbnail his stolen Hollywood television shows, and now it's crashing Explorer because it's a Chinese piece of shit.

try disabling non microsoft shell extensions with nirsoft shell ex view

install, open, click hide all microsoft entries in options. disable all of these 3rd party shell extensions or a few at a time and restart explorer in the same options menu each time you disable.
use the process of elimination to see if one of these 3rd party shell extensions is causing the problem.
