I don't know about backdoor but that computer looks like a cheap toy from China. What the fuck?

No. But laptops (except macs, sharp edges) made out of metal is really nice to have.
C2d doesn't have the old intel microcode update CPU backdoor? Interesting if true. Might buy a x200 now
Who says I don't?
T400 reporting in.

32 bit on a core 2 quad
WHY?
INSTALL 64BIT RIGHT NOW
Core 2 quad master race
32 bit supports less RAM therefore uses less RAM
Nah.
I thought libreboot was dead.
>getting the X220 when the X60 exists
Libreboot is SJW but nice.
>4GB of ram
You will hardly notice the difference user
so coreboot?
Core boot has Binary blobs and supports the intel ME.
I miss expansion cards 2bh
you.... you have never even touched an IBM ThinkPad have you...?
Yes but seem to at least try.
If the infrastructure is there with binary blobs, you can remove those blobs one at a time while the system is working instead of replacing them so the system will work.
I still have a laptop with a Core2Duo, which I prefer to use because it's both quieter and runs cooler while still performing just fine (:

When is libreboot finished?
>I have literally no idea what I am talking about.
I know that coreboot boot barely works and libreboot doesn't work.
The company owned by libreboot that sells librebooted computers has started taking pre-orders for the x220.
No specific eta though.

Backdoored. use a Core Duo.
:^)
How
I would like one for this very reason, but honestly if you're connected to the internet you're fucked anyways.
I am still interested, I guess I'll look for a good deal somewhere. Which is my best option for a Thinkpad?
Correct, it doesn't user.
