From the last thread Honor 8 or HTC 10 Or maybe th p9 Or something in that range
Dominic Baker
OP3T
Dominic Miller
No. Carrier. Offers. It Too. Expensive. Standalone
Jace Watson
Presonally honor 8 for the design and the Kirin, but I guess for most people the HTC might be better.
Grayson Taylor
600€, $549
same shit
Hunter Baker
Which has a more durable and vivid screen And which will last longer?
Ayden Peterson
HTC probably. The Honor is a glass phone with a Kirin SoC, the HTC is using a Qualcomm SoC.
Are these your only 2 options? Zuk Z2 is only $158 now, outright...
Also how are you getting a HTC 10 same price as Honor 8?
Michael Perez
OP 3T is Pajeet Tier
Can't flash fully working custom ROMs in Huawei phones
Other brands are dogshit default ROMs as well.
Ryan Parker
I am not Just it is easier for me to get it on a carrier plan I wont pay for a phone in one time THe diffrence between a HTC and a Honor is not that large in per month pricing (5 euros)
Jonathan Hughes
I'd recomend the HTC for now since it has a better XDA community.
Ethan Edwards
Also the HTC is 2 years while the honor is 1 year
Elijah Phillips
So you mean the honor is half the price then since its half as long?
William Garcia
Oh wait My bad Honor 8 is 24 months aswell
Thomas Flores
Guys, what do you think about Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro ? I'm about to get one.
Jackson Baker
In that case, HTC all the way.
But why?
Brandon Powell
Kirin beat everything last benchmark I saw, MT does well against Snapdragon 6 series
Mason Baker
I like what Mediatek is doing with the X and P series.
Jose Price
Well, it seems good in "low price" range.
Zachary Johnson
How important is 4g? I'm in America and I want to get a meizu but willmyphonework says that the 4g isn't compatible.
Joseph Long
when is moto g5+ coming out? i need a new cheap phone that isnt chinkshit
Julian Russell
Well 2g and 3g are getting phased out in the US and will no longer be available around 2019.
Noah Ortiz
Are there any mod recommendations for Xiaomi Redmi 4?
Kayden Price
HTC 10 has WiFi issues. google it.
Noah Walker
Which would likely have better battery life on the Galaxy Note 4, Touchwiz M ROM or MIUI 8? (De-bloated in either case)
>touchwiz >MIUI
Exynos model. No dev scene.
Henry Edwards
I'm looking for chink phone recommendations. I live in Canada and using Rogers.
Jaxon James
Why would any sane person use miui?
Is Meizu one of the most underrated brands right now? The Meizu M5 looks so good.
Yes
Aiden Scott
what are some good phone cases for the samsung S7?
Gavin Hernandez
When the FUCK is the PIXEL GOING TO BE BACK IN STOCK?
Nathan Flores
Give up and just get Pixel 2.
Oliver Perry
WHEN IS THE PIXEL 2 GOING TO BE IN STOCK?
James Green
Probably earlier than the Pixel 1 at this rate.
Bentley King
>implying a stupid weaboo like your can afford the pixel Fuck off and buy an iPhone you poorfag.
Ayden Smith
Is there any reason I shouldn't get an LG G6 if I can get it for $200 off? I'm coming from a Nexus 6p.
Daniel Price
Are there any decent smartphones that are
>unlocked >removable battery >works on GSM networks AND Verizon
Joseph Gutierrez
Do you consider the G4 Play to be decent?
Liam Hill
Motorola x pure, ZTE axon 7 but only in theory, sprint nor boost will accept either or any unlocked phone, NS about iphones
Mason Cook
What kind of rootkit does the Meizu ship with
Luis Carter
He wanted a removable battery, moron.
William Clark
>Meizu >Rootkit I think you meant Xiaomi, Meizu is a clean brand.
They even let you root the phone in the settings menu for ultimate freedom.
Leo Gray
No where to grip 18:9 meme Old SoC Still expensive LG may have not fixed QA issues It looks good but you asked why you may not want it
Josiah Foster
What kind of rootkit does the OnePlus ship with
Henry Stewart
All of them. That's why it's got such a rich custom community.
James Martinez
Oh god
Robert Howard
So about people who make ROMs. Do they literally do it for FREE?
Samuel James
Werks on my machine
Been with my 10 forever and never noticed
Juan Cruz
Can someone tell me how the S7 fares nowadays? Is it a good buy still? Was it ever?
Alexander Johnson
they beg for donations but yeah they do it for free.
Luis Jenkins
So if you're carrying a phone, PRISM related entities have pwned you regardless of OS or device, no?
Given that, what OS / ecosystem is the best armed against other malicious entities, attacks and exploits?
Which phone most secure.
John Perry
None, just get whatever you like the most and stop worrying about the cia niggers looking at your anime
Justin Kelly
I'm getting into jewing apps on android. What would be a good Jew PlayStore? I'm using aptoide atm
Also, more importantly, what would be a good anti virus/malware?

I need an advice for a new phone.
It must have:
>excellent screen You experience the smartphone through its screen, so it must be as good as possible.
>well built If it breaks on its own, or because it fell on the floor, then it's not worth considering, since a broken product is worth nought. It doesn't mean it must be as invincible as a tank, just that it can survive everyday use and some accidental abuse.
>durable I expect it to last three to four years.
>not stupidly expensive I think €300 is a sensible price to pay, but as long as I'm not far into diminishing returns, then I'm willing to pay.
These are the main requirements. Then it would be nice if it had >unbloated android >small bezels >a camera flush with the back >a good battery >mSD expansion slot >removable battery
Hunter Cox
Due you have problems with it?
Oliver Wilson
Is getting a Nextbit Robin a totally cooked idea?
They're cheap and I think an 808 with 3GB would suit my needs. I was previously considering a mi4, but I know that the 801 isn't actively seeing support for Quaaaaalcom anymore.
Looking for something with good, official rom support - under $200AUD
Isaiah Kelly
the redmi 4 prime will get los support soon since the sources were released recently. Maybe that's a phone for you too.
David Rogers
What's the difference between the snapdragon 626 and 650? I know that the 4xx line is the low end line the 6xx is for midrangers and the 8xx is for flagships. But where is the difference between those two?
Kevin Gonzalez
Seems to have a Mediatek processor (though that may well not be an issue if sources have been released).
It does also appear to be around $250AUD.
Surely at that price I'd go for the Lenovo SUCC z2. I know it already has official Mokee (haven't fucked with that, but have heard good things)
Is there any reason not to get the Lenovo p2? It seems basically perfect.
Jaxson Walker
Zuk Edge and Maizu Pro 6 Plus fit all but removable battery and expansion slot.
Maybe 1+3t?
No phone that price would reasonably last 3+ years though.
Anthony Morgan
Seems that's the differences between the "pro prime" and the "prime".
This naming convention... it needs to end.
Jace Sanchez
The Zuk Z2 is still better than the redmi phones in most aspects though.
It's the same price as a Redmi 4 Prime now too.
Jack Bailey
Why does everyone hate Google?
Aiden Collins
Going to replace my Xperia Z2 this May/june.
>Country Norway >Budget 1000 Euro >Wanted features Android 7.0+, APTX, Good battery time, High end SoC for fast H.265 decoding. >Size Between 5.4" to 6.4"
So far I've been looking at: Galaxy S8 Galaxy S8+ Xperia XZ Premium LG G6
Luke Nguyen
>Get new phone >Antutu it >Get 81k >Flash Custom ROM that is 'debloated' and 'optimized' >Get 69k
What the fuck did I do wrong?
Logan Morales
>No phone that price would reasonably last 3+ years though. How's that even possible? Beside, my S4 is still working after 3+ years, after a battery change.
Julian Watson
Smartphone with physical t9 keyboard. Do those things still exist?
Jaxson Scott
Because an S4 wasn't 300 dollars back then.
Tyler Phillips
BlackBerry?
Landon Wilson
That's qwerty tho
Matthew Nelson
I got it for that amount tho (with a carrier)
Isaac Clark
What do you guys think about the HTC Desire 626?
Daniel Brooks
>with a carrier Doesn't count. It's not your phone until the contract ends.
Wyatt Carter
The contract ended after two years. The phone is still working after almost four (it's giving signs of age though, hence why I want to change it)
Oliver Carter
you fell for the custom rom meme
Elijah Roberts
What's the best / most reliable portable charger?
I've never used one, but I'm good on a trip and I figure it'll come in handy
Hunter Young
How are the exynos-based phones? I get mixed messages about those and the s7 (edge)
Cooper Gutierrez
Is the HTC 10 any good lads? Not been following phones and shit for a while, my M8 is nearing the end of its life and I've enjoyed using this phone. I remember hearing the M9 had overheating issues or something?
Juan Hughes
>5 day battery life >charges from 0 to 100% in less than 2 hours >best cpu scores available why dont you own a huawei mate 9?
Evan Hall
Just ordered an iPhone 7 Plus 128GB w/ 10GB of data for $85 dollarydoos a month. How'd I do? Haven't used an iPhone since the iPhone 4 by the way
Adrian Rodriguez
day battery life what?
Zachary Parker
cuz i stay on huawei p9 plus for now with that amoled screen
Jaxson Adams
>tfw $450 is too expensive for you poorfags
Lucas Long
Im torn between Galaxy A5(2017) or oneplus 3/3t
in my country samsung has good customer service(literally just one mile away there is a samsung store), while oneplus is none existent(im actually buying to a chink store)
what should pick lads? below 400 usd
Camden Hall
Anyone has Redmi Note 4 with MediaTek CPU? Is GPS really that bad as some people say it is?
I ordered the Redmi 4 Prime yesterday, apparently now I can get the Zuk Z2 on Banggood for the same price. Should I cancel my order? I care about LineageOS support, although MIUI seems good.
Shit I care about: Zuk Z2: >64GB >USB-C
Redmi 4 Prime: >only 32GB, but with microSD >MIUI > ZUI
Both have spotty/unofficial LineageOS support.
Cameron Price
Zuk Z2 has official Mokee support, better SoC, better camera, type C.
Redmi has better battery life.
Both are open source now so it's up to you, but personally I'd go with the Zuk. It's got a pretty big community (for chinkphone) on their own dedicated forum.
Ryan Davis
>It's got a pretty big community
Landon Torres
you wont find any good info about it on this site, too much shitposting and shills.
Evan Martinez
Relatively.
Wyatt Mitchell
Tennmak Pro.
Thanks, I think the Z2 is a better overall phone. The lack of microSD isn't that important since it has more internal storage anyway. Any idea how troublesome the ROM situation is for it? I know with Xiaomi you have to apply for an unlock code and wait about a week to have it. And LineageOS support for it seems abandoned since January.
Benjamin Hill
I have around $400 to spend on a phone. Axon 7, OnePlus 3T or is there something better?
Nicholas Williams
I own Zuk Z2 Pro.
Unlocking was super easy, but use a browser with built in translate like chrome, or an extension, since the page will be in Chinese.
You just make an account, send them an unlock request, 2 minutes later you'll get an unlock.img via email. Flash via fastboot and you're unlocked.
I'm on rooted stock rom at the moment, I like ZUI so far.
Not a bad list just to see what's available if you're interested.
Jason Cox
Thanks
