OP IS A FAGGOT THAT TURNED OFF HARDWARE DECODING ON MPC-HC MASTER RACE
MPV HAS NO HARDWARE DECODING AND WILL ALWAYS USE MORE CPU AND WASTING BATTERY LIFE
>Using windows
nu/g/ is pathetic
how about you show us what celeron you're running, OP
What kind of toasters do you run these on, friends?

Are you implying there is no hardware decoding for HEVC? A shitty S912 SoC has hwdec. True, Intel chips are shit and only 6th gen + have partial hardware decoding.
There is so many misconfigured things about your post is just hurts.
Have this, 2160p60 HEVC 10bit. CPU usage 1.7%.
Please stop posting on Sup Forums and go back to VLC
>running and decoding bluray Rogue One movie

what the fuck potatoes do you guys run? I only have a 3570K...
They can't into DVXA2. It takes max 30 minutes of research to know how to setup everything, but no one does it which results in threads like this one.
mpv has more hardware decoding support than any player that exists though, it has like lists and lists of hardware decoding options
I'm just running default mpv w/e the settings are
and it's using cpu decoding for meme quality by default, that's all I know

What CPU/GPU setup you got?
Hi OP, you seem to be a faggot but I will help you anyway.
First of all, you are using 32 bit version of MPC. what the fuck.
Second, it seems that you are trying to play HEVC video. No matter what player you use, if you don't use hardware decoder for it, it's going to be eating up your CPU. GPUs that support HEVC 10bit decoding are GTX950, GTX960, Everything GTX1x00, and Intel Kaby Lake.
Once you have them go to your LAV Video settings and set everything like on pic related.
Have a nice day.
VLC is the best!
I have GTX960. CPU doesn't matter in this case, but it's i7 4770.
My father has GTX950 with some cheap i3 and cpu usage on this file is the same, because GPU handles everything.

I smell bait.
Press Ctrl + J
I have an RX 480
What is hardware decoder?
...
RX 480 supports hardware decoding of 4K HEVC 10bit 60fps. Update MPC-HC x64 to latest version and do I am using K-Lite Codec Pack Full because I'm lazy and it's already nicely configured (hate incoming).
Thanks. I was wondering if RX480 decoder is finally supported.
You might also want to press V to get frames synced to your monitor's refresh rate, if it supports 23Hz
I forgive you for opening the file in VLC.
>K-Lite
No, just no.
I wish someone rewrote this page en.wikipedia.org
