Only nginx and redis are top tier in that picture.

Do you willingly use javascript?

nodejs and mysql only for programming babies

Go le back to le redditss.com

yea why not.. node is the best for web backend, what else am I gona use? php? java?

...

depends what you want to do. The thing with node is that while it scales well it's not the best for real time systems.

I wish javascript never existed. It's the ugliest goddamn thing and you need plugins to do the most simple of things. At least ES6 is a step in the right direction.

none of those

dotnet core is pretty good for web

this and typescript.

i used to hate javascript until i learned a little bit of ES6 and typescript. Man, both are good

>DUDE TYPE ANNOTATIONS LMAO
was falling for the meme part of your plan?

Elixir
Phoenix
Postgres

That's it. Until you need to handle many millions of requests per day you won't need Redis (BEAM is good enough for queues and temporary key-value storage) or nginx (Phoenix serves static assets in microseconds).

This will be the only non-meme post ITT.

Beat me to it.

Why aren't you using Apache?

Because it's current year.

What advantages does it have over NGINX? None. And NGINX is easier to learn.

If you want easy to lean for a web server try Caddy, free HTTPS certs as well.

BCHS
> OpenBSD C httpd SQLite

enjoy being one of like 10 million. enjoy competing with bootcamp tards and dudes with accounting / finance / math degrees that realized too late they fucked up by not doing CS / SE. enjoy being paid shit and being easily replaceable.

nginx is nice but I roll with a LAMP stack

I've gotta start learning how to use Spring Framework

You've been able to get SSL certs for free all the time, even signed ones now through Let's Encrypt.

>being a wagecuck

If you can do backend & frontend you can basically make/run your own sites and make money.

>the self employed meme
So glad I fell for it.

How?

>I've gotta start learning how to use Spring Framework
Fucking why?

Maybe he likes XML and annotations.
