Linux, obviously

But what you call linux is mostly made by the GNU project.

yea everyone knows this
I would think GNU would understand my freedom to leave it out of the name tho

GNU+Linux
There would be no Linux without the GNU project in the first place.

It's Linux + Xog + Firefox +...

Its GNU+Linux+systemd

Why should GNU get more credit when it does the least amount? The kernel is obviously more important.

Without GNU the kernel would be worthless. Without the kernel GNU would be worthless.

you are free to be wrong, yes, and they understand it.

Not true. The only reason GNU is popular is because of Linux. Luckily we can run other userlands on Linux and not have to deal with GNU.

Systemd/systemd

dude didnt we settle this once and for all, like, 2 weeks ago

But what if use Linux + BSD or plan9 tools and clang?

Macbook Pro with TouchBar doesn't have this problem

fpbp

GNU+Linux or "Lignux"

I think it should just be printed and said "GNU Linux". It makes more sense when you consider non-GNU flavors of Linux. "Busybox/Linux" or "Busybox+Linux" just sound stupid.

GNU/Linux.
Fuck SystemDildo.

go to bed linus

I just call It Linux, it's easier and everyone knows what you're talking about

make me.

Proof?

You have to give GNU some credit though.

No I do not, nor will I

Why? And who decides the point where "credit" deserved?

I call it Just Linux.
