My network name (my mom's house) is the gator60 one in the red parabola
Eli Hall
Change it to channel 14, senpaitachi.
John Hughes
one weird trick for a stronger signal is plugging in a cat5 cable, easy 1-10 gbps
Camden Taylor
use 5ghz
Josiah Fisher
i've never seen so many networks in one spot before
Elijah Rivera
Do not do this
Do this or use channels 1,6, or 12 on 2.5 ghz
Joshua Sanchez
>cat5 >1-10gbps
Jace Richardson
>mfw running fake APs on channels 4, 8 and 10
Enjoy ur shit connection, wavecucks
Michael Cox
...
Carson Edwards
>So is the only way to get a strong signal with a new router? Faster connection? Or more in house signal boosters?
This question makes no sense.
Caleb Parker
>not knowing how routers operate >sucking at shitposting this bad Do you belong here? Try
William Evans
Is for you btw famalam
Levi Ward
Not an argument
Nathaniel Ward
thx senpai, just did this and now my internet is twice as fast. preety cool trick desu, have a rare meme i found on the tele
Ryder Foster
I upgraded to powerline adapters, and left the wireless connection for smartphones only.
Zachary Turner
10000 Base-T exists. 10G. Although the latency on it is horrible, and the cat6 cable has to be really, really, good to work with it.
Not worth it compared SFP+ and fiber, or even SFP+ and coax (great for short runs!)
Charles Anderson
Didn't you mean 1,6 and 11?
Evan James
Stop buying gamer-style shit, it will never work well. Look into ubnt.com/products/ they have some decent options that are way beyond most home devices will not breaking the bank.
Brandon Murphy
yes
Jace Cook
You buy a high power wifi jammer to piss off your neighbors to the point that they move off of your god given frequency spectrum.
Joshua Perry
>the ass hats that use channels 3 and 9 Where the fuck do you live with this many APs?
William Myers
Apartment building probably
Elijah Peterson
...
Cooper Parker

Chase Lopez
>ubnt.com/products Holy shit their 802.11ac Wave 2 AP is finally out... and also expensive as fuck.
Lincoln Long
Why not? Other than device incompatibility, the use of 5GHZ greatly improved my wireless speeds, even on my thrift store router.
Get on 5GHz. You'll get less range, but it's typically less crowded.
Brandon Martin
Change your channel to 6.
Leo Nguyen
Using channel 14 is illegal in the US. And believe it or not, if you do it, you will eventually get a knock on your door telling you to stop.
If you use 5ghz then use 5ghz. If your device is compatible use AC only.
Logan Young
The most likely thing that will happen is that a few of them will have little understanding of why it doesn't work and will call professionals in who will detect a jammer and call the FCC on you.
Julian Green
oh god.. totally would
Austin Cox
This
Camden Young
Please don't listen to this lol
Ayden Barnes
You could get EM insulation for your house. Cuts out your neighbors' crap and as a bonus stops people from leeching off your wifi.
Zachary Collins
I've seen worse. Though I'm the only faggot in the area with a dual band ac router, so not that bad.
Jose Miller
jesus
Nicholas Gomez
>In house signal boosters. Did you fall for a meme?
Like, 'repeaters' or 'boosters' are always the shitty option.
Actually install a few access points in your house and wire them back to your router. Quit being a pleb.
Also looks like channel 6 is an option for you...
Michael Allen
you poor sad ausfag
Oliver Ward
What's wrong with using channels 3 and 9?
Nolan Walker
>piss off neighbors and convince them to go with ethernet
Are you autistic? You think that's what they'll think? As the other guy said, they'll be clueless and call in a pro who'll slap your shit. You're a dumbfuck too, assuming they all use desktops and don't have smartphones that connect to their wifi.
Isaiah Baker
You need kill anyone that isn't using channel 1, 6, or 11.
Aiden Reed
Try living down town
Nicholas Williams
I too would like to live in a Faraday cage.
Jaxson Rodriguez
No one near me runs 5Ghz, feels gud. Now if only the signal attenuation wasn't garbage. I have a feeling it's due to the structure and building materials of my home, since the router is on the main floor and pic related is from the upper floor on the far Northeast corner.
Kevin Clark
In out network, often just ipv6 adresses working properly. Like Googlesearch... often it just works for macfags, sometimes not. Whats going on here?
Aaron Powell
Change your canals should help with interferences. Otherwise get Repeaters to boost your signal.
Angel Reyes
look at this moron
Jeremiah Gray
>Hes using wifi, literally turning his house into a radiated microwave
Brandon Gonzalez
Feels good to live in a house
Grayson Morales
/s = sarcasm
Bentley King
>who will detect a jammer and call the FCC on you. Doubt this as you are giving IT Professionals too much credit.
Landon Reyes
>she doesn't understand radiation
Ayden Ramirez
Sorry, I'm not familiar with Redditisms. Thanks for letting me know.
Cooper Howard
np faggot
Mason Watson
>he doesn't understand how non-ionizing radiation works so he baits other people into explaining it to him instead Not going to bother, so here's your (You), don't spend it all in on place.
Isaac Mitchell
did you just assume my gender?
David Phillips
So I just did this. What's the problem?
Noah Long
Channel 14 can only do 802.11b and many devices have trouble connecting to it.
