Why aren't you picking some up? They're rare as shit and neat as fuck. Even if the Itanium wasn't the game changer Intel and HP wanted everyone to believe it was, it was still a fascinating departure from traditional hardware design and had decent performance in certain niches. HP-UX still has plenty of currently maintained free software and Linux is always an option too.
Even if you don't want one, I'm sure you could still undercut the shit out of jews on Ebay and still make it worth your while to deliver a few to good homes.
