because I hate cleaning the rollers every other day.

Because I don't have one

Availability

You only have to clean it once a year

Does this count?

Do they already have Cherry Red Spheres?
I don;t like the blackand white ones, they are too curvy.

Not if you have food crumbs and hair everywhere.

I'm not an animal

>Wheels (for collecting oil, dirt, and skin to prevent wheels from moving)
no thanks, im good

You might as well use this keyboard so it wouldn't collect skin and dirt between the keys

Because it's not the 90s anymore

Your pet may be an animal.

Lewd

u could sell them for hundreds nowadays

just make the website white on black and claim high numbers, eg "dpi"

Because I'm using a mechanical trackball

They suck balls.

>"Worlds first USB type C trackball mouse"

done

Never mind that, the REAL question is why aren't you using a laser keyboard?

youtube.com/watch?v=hv5bZXauR2M

Highly doubt thats mechanical.

I know this entire thread is bait, but i'm at least interested in what reasoning you might give someone for why mechanical is better in optical.

Mechanical mice are fucking shit.

sorry op, that's not a mechanical mouse

please OP
PLEASE
don't make this a meme
please, oh god
we will have trackball vs mech mouse threads
please
Sup Forums is already shit
we don't need more shit

It's objectively inferior in every way to optical mice.

Lack of tactile feedback

Other "meme" tech like mechanical keyboards actually have pros and cons to argue over. Ball mice... Don't. You can't even shitpost that they're better.

If controllers used these we wouldn't have dead zones.

For the love of god plase make this a meme, so I can sell my dozens of hoarded "vintage" ball mice to hipsters for $100 each

Because they're worse in basically every conceivable way?

I'm sorry, but Mechanical Mice are way better than a normie's mouse.
First, the old Mech Mouse's weight is perfect for professional and efficient working. Productivity is my priority.
Mech Mouse has another advantage : they roll ! Vibrations caused by the Mechanical Ball are very benefic for my productivity on Facebook and Stack Overflow.

I can't list all the advantages of Mechanical Mouse, if if you have not one, then :
1/ Your productivity will be low
2/ You might be a normie (no offense)
3/ You will never feel the comfort of a Mechanical Ball and of Mechanical Sensors.

Have fun with your meme LAZER mouse, kek :^)

Wrong.
Please read this thank you user :)

The only good thing about them is that you can take the ball and shove it into your ass, if that's the kind of thing you enjoy.

Another advantage of the Mechanical Mouse ! Thank you user for you testimony :)

People used to take the balls out and chuck them at each other when I was in school. Their genius solution was to glue the mice shut so you couldn't open them, that was fun.

A E S T H E T I C S

Its not a meme kiddo, mechanic mouses are superior in every aspect, nothing can replace that feeling of rolling the ball

why would I?

That satisfying feel of scraping the line of crud off the balls

Because mechanical moyses are better than optishit

Gonna fuck the fingers in 2 days with this shit

Fun Fact: The mouse ball is actually a stainless steel ball bearing covered in rubber.

There are really good reason to use a mech keyboard. The reason no one use shitty ball mouses are obvious.
Also I hated that how sometimes the ball got stuck.

needs regular cleaning
needs a mouse pad
less responsive

People use mechanical keyboard so they can "feel" the keys being press, same apples to mechanical moses except inside of feeling the click, you feel the ball being rolled

*instead not inside

There's nothing special about the ball rolling, it's actually not even directly influencing the mouse cursor anyway there's a roller that spins a wheel that affects a light sensor that is affecting the cursor. Optical mice drop all that stupid shit and just directly interact with the light sensor.

>Not using an easily cleanable mechanical board

Enjoy your RSI.
