Overall it's a pretty good phone, especially considering that I got it for $250. It would be almost perfect if the battery was slightly larger, the display was AMOLED, and it had 4gb of ram instead of 3.

Do any of you have a Samsung Galaxy S7 that can chime in?

Ironically, on the one year anniversary of the phone, it began to act weird. Let me get this out of the way... No, I did NOT do anything different. I understand people complain just to realize it was their fault. I did not do anything differently. At all.

It's began to run slower. The camera takes a lot longer to launch and take photos. Furthermore, when pressing on the gallery icon in the camera, it won't open. It's just been acting weird in general. I thought that a restart would fix it, but nothing changed. The fingerprint scanner is not working most of the times now. It used to work perfectly and I always use it in the same position. When it does work, it takes a long time to unlock the phone.

It's probably time for a factory reset anyway, but I just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this. I have done nothing differently. Did not change any settings, did not install anything, nothing.

The S7 Edge and iPhone 7 Plus have the same screen sizes friendo, it just doesn't seem that way as the S7 Edge's screen is curved. But petty corrections aside, my ideal screen is 5.7-5.8 inches as I'm blind in one eye and have extremely poor eyesight.

Well fuck I'm retarded. Fair enough, I can see why you'd benefit from it then. It's a shame the Note 7's blew up.

Battery was only ok when I first got it, it's pretty poor now. Idle is average, but heavy browsing and games take a chunk of battery life. I've been using my phone pretty much non-stop browsing for just under 2 hours and it's at 50% (using only mobile data/wifi and brightness low.) Also the GPS seems to a little off at times.

I only got this phone for less than a week and there so much I hate about this.
1. fast charging
2. heat easily while playing games online.
3. no gyroscope, can't watch the vr blowjob hehe
4. so little custom rom, I checked on xda and too many of them want to roll back to Marshmallow after updating to Nougat
5. shit battery life. seriously. you need power bank with this device.
6. only 16gb internal. yeah there's sd card but it takes the slot for sim2.
7. there is two bottom speaker grill but only one actually produce sound. officially confirmed.
8. huge huawei logo at the bottom.
9. heat very easily. did I mentioned it? like super hot its uncomfortable to hold even with case. you have to enter ultra saving mode for a few minutes to cool it down.
10. you have to root it to enable "double tap to wake up".

But I really happy and grateful to have this as this is a gift from my girlfriend. Definitely ugrade from S3, actually any mid range phone these day is an upgrade. I don't think this phone will last as long as my s3 because battery not removeable. I'm grateful and not being a brat but I don't recommend this phone at all. You can get a lot better phone with the same amount.

Had Redmi Note 3, but my stupidness managed to erase the IMEIs and MACs... and I threw out the box (no, there isn't a sticker with both IMEIs and MACs, only IMEI 1, which meant nothing), got a second hand One M7. Happy with the quaily build of the phone, size and the screen. But the battery went to shit and no matter which ROM I put on it, it's fucking up (random restarts due to kernel panics, even stock ROM). Don't have money for a new oe ATM. And I want a black S7 Edge so badly... FML

I bought 3 on Aliexpress, one of the sellers had put some kind of botnet infested bloatyshit on 2 of them, gave it a iphone-ish look and spied on me. Put lineage on it and now it's basically perfect.

It's rooted though so can't put bank related apps on it... anyone know fix?

Zuk Z2

Developer settings -> disable root? As far as Linage on my M7 goes, it works that way. Unless you installed a prerooted ROM with SuperSU or something simmilar. Then delete the app from the system. Should work this way.

Try doing a factory reset on the phone. That's what I did to my T989d (S2 variant) before I gave it to my mom (upgraded to OnePlus One), it was having all sorts of problems and they all magically went away after flashing. It's been working fine for her since 2014 now.
