Guys, I'm fed up with AMD, they don't launch a new videocard, and NVIDIA has become their own competition. I'm thinking about going to the green side of the force. What budget NVIDIA GPU do you recommend?

I recommend kys yourselve negroid faggot

You should buy AMD if you go on a budget, like a 480.
Otherwise, go Nvidia.
Still want a budget Nvidia? Get a 1050ti or a 1060 depending on your budget.

RX Vega is coming in a month or two. What're you talking about.

It's been known to be coming "h1 2017" which means "q2 2017" for like 6 months now.

I don't know man...i'm just tired right now.
Use Intel HD graphics and go to bed.

Sup Forums loves AMD

That's because AMD loves Sup Forums

And you still need to wait or buy they shot reference design.

>just wait

>just wait for cannonlake. We won't be cucked with only 4 cores anymore then!
>I-I mean you don't even need 4 cores.. even though many games max out the 7700k without hitting 144fps... but just wait okay!!!!

RX Vega, from the same engineers that brought you the RX480 PCI-E voltage spec fuck up

And from the same engineers that brought you the 4870, 5870, 7970, 290X, R9 Fury, Nano, and other cards that completely stomped Nvidia's shit at the time.

>5870, 7970, 290X
>mfw I fell for the hype 3 times

AMD laid off more than 50% of their engineering staff after GCN 1.0 was finished. The people who design AMD hardware these days are H1B indians with no real knowledge or experience, which is why AMD has rehashed the same GPU uarch for 5 years and why it took so long for Zen to be developed.

Its a fucking disaster owning 2 of the 3 most long lived gpus of all time right? Remember: a driver gimping a year keeps the goyim in fear.

I bet you wish you bought a 780ti instead of that 290x.

But all three of those cards were great?

>looks stupidly awesome on paper
>games kept crashing or textures loaded slowly for some stupid reason
>every driver update scares the shit out of me

Stop using DDR2 and get a real cpu.

>>every driver update scares the shit out of me
Well I mean AMD's driver updates don't turn off your cooling fans and cause your GPU to catch on fire so at least there's that.

This pajeet has run their GPU division into the ground

By keeping rebrands competitive with "new" architecture from Nvidia?

>I once swore that I was never going to get an nvidia card after 4600ti killed itself.
Then I made the mistake of getting a laptop with nvidia graphics which killed the entire laptop due to excessive heat destroying the solder
It seemed like the best choice at that time
>Then I swore that I was never going to get an nvidia card after that
Then I made the mistake of getting a 600 series card, it seemed like the best value at the time
Then the gimping drivers came out and started to slow it down
Then it killed itself, two PSU's and was most likely the cause of two other PSU's to die during this period.
If I use nvidia again, I'm afraid it might try to burn the house down or something. It's just not worth the risk.
>I am never touching those pieces of shit again, seriously this time

Meanwhile my first overclocked GPU, an ATI 9800pro with a custom bias running faster than an XT and with a dodgy aftermarket blower fan/memory heatsinks still works to this day.

>update driver
>game stops working completely
>Nvidia 2017

>textures loaded slowly for some stupid reason
That's a nVidia thing.
