GGn hasn't changed. The social dynamic of torrenting is and it's reflecting in their retention. It also doesn't help that their servers tend to have the stability of a toddler with parkinson's.

So my hard drive that had all my movies/TV stuff died, I might just say "fuck it" and redownload what I actually want to watch, but how does BTN's bonus point calculation work? If I seeded something for a couple of years and then stop for a month, can I start seeding again and get the points at the same rate I had been, or will it eventually start over?
Not that I have any use for them but it annoys me to think I might lose the time I accrued if I do need them some day. I could always have Backblaze mail me a hard drive with my stuff (redownloading 2.6TB of shit over their slow client is not really practical) but it would tie up almost $200 until I can get it back to them and sounds awfully inconvenient so I'm not sure I want to bother.
