I've owned a Note 3 ever since it came out on launch day 4 years ago and I haven't had any problems with the screen whatsoever. The only thing that gave me problems was the battery last year not holding as much charge but I just replaced it with a new one and the problem went away.
My battery went to shit after a year or so, but Google replaced it (the entire phone lmao) free of charge.

I wait long and think hard about phones before I get them. I almost avoided getting the 6p just because it didn't have sd support and it isn't water proof/resistant. After looking at it over and over and just knowing it would(at least i thought) had continuous support from google I got it.
Before it I had a lumia 1520 and that was an amazing phone and still it. I miss it aside from lack of app support. But the 6p is just incredible and I don't see any older/newer phone beating it currently.
I don't understand why google thought the pixel was an upgrade to the 6p, maybe in terms of hardware it was slight upgrade but overall its presentation it was just a big down grade and not worth the $250 more price tag.
It's not though. Hell, there are even older phones that are better than that thing.
I avoided the 6P for a couple reasons. The screen is too large and I generally wear tight-fitting pants for work, meaning it won't fit in my pocket. I also don't like how Google phones don't have an SD slot and you have to keep everything on their servers or pay hundreds more for extra internal storage. The battery is not removable and I like to keep my devices for a long time, meaning I'd eventually have to open the thing up with a heat gun and prying tool. No thanks. I concede however that the rear fingerprint scanner is superior and front-facing speakers are amazing. I ended up getting an LG V20 which, although huge, fits as many as my needs as possible.
Considering getting one to put copperhead os on it. Sick of being spied on.

I also have a 6P and there's a pretty widespread battery problem with them. Nobody's entirely sure if it's just shitty cells or some weird software bug but after the 7.1 update a lot of people began experiencing crazy accelerated battery drain and shutoffs with the battery indicator at 15% or greater- mine started shutting down as soon as battery saver kicked in, and I had a shutdown at around 40% in cold weather. For me at least 7.1.1 mostly fixed the drain issue but I still have early shutdowns, and I'm not sure it's worth pursuing a fix. Too many reports of people getting crappy refurbs back, some with the same problems, and/or google not even being able to replace it with the same color and storage.
5x only uses one speaker, the other one is just for phone calls
