I have that case
It is decent and was cheap but now discontinued I hear
I bought this case for cheap af at my local microcenter a few months ago for my Mom's Husband since he's a former marine and enjoyed the aesthetics. Still need to build in it, but that should be in the next few weeks.

Though get the no-window version if you want quiet and don't value showing your boyfriend your insides.

oh look, a "professional" arrived

Nah, I don't actually play too many games at the moment due to life. But I've recently built a new desk and I need to get a better case because it is sitting on top. I've had the same case since I was 17 so its old and covered in stickers.
Just got my SB900 pro, fucking huge. Coming up from my phanteks 400, I needed the extra hard drive cages and space.
R5 mustard race.
This thing is great but I wish I got the gray one.
Slick asf
Are mini itx worth getting?
If you're okay with just one PCIe slot, sure.
>my Mom's Husband
is this some kind of Inception-tier shitposting
Enthoo Pro nofaggotry edition
enjoy you're dusty mesh
I have that case. Paid 60 on amazon ion sale. Its like 120$ at micro center lol. Not worth 120. 60-80 ONLY if you need a fuck huge case. Shits annoyingly big.
Attack of the (Thermaltake) Clone
Is my mother not allowed to get remarried?
Why is the nzxt h440 not here?
(Besides the horrid exhaust)
>R5
>Good
Not with those ridiculous top panels.
Looks pretty nice
This is much better.
I have this, solid af. Yes, it looks similar to another black refrigerator, that looks very much like another case that might be too old for /g to remember. I chose it over the other black rectangle cases, because I kept reading about vibrating HDD cages and paint coming off on the alternative. It's very big, I feel stupid as fuck just having a 4 core chip and 1 GPU in it, but I have all the HDD slots filled, so it worked out pretty good.
For a budget case I've been really satisfied with the phanteks p400s. It's not obnoxious looking, has lots of room inside, the psu/HDD shroud is great for cable management, and it's nice having integrated LED extensions if you buy the cheap phanteks strips so the interior and exterior colors are synced. I was deciding between this and the NZXT s340 and I'm glad I went with this
Cheap plastic.
It's the official reddit case
Thinking about getting this one.

>still using HDDs
>using SSDs for storage
>Super fast transfer speeds
>Not using SSDs
Yes, SSDs have their uses. Fast data transfers are definitely one of them. There are, however, use cases that don't benefit from such things. HDDs still have a place in this world and you need to accept that.

nsk4480b found it on craigslist for $30 unopened...six years ago
The price per GB is the only negative of using a SDD over an HDD. There really is no other reason not to get an SDD. So with poor people yes hdds still have a place
when they first came out the defragging was an issue is it still?
There's absolutely no benefit to storing things that don't benefit from SSDs on SSDs. Using SSDs for such purposes isn't for people with money, it's for retards.
Defragging was never an issue, SSDs simply don't need to be defragged.
Have an H440.
Want either an Enthoo Pro Evolv mATX, or S340 Elite.
Is there a big difference in SSD brands? Like just the major ones not the random china co. stuff
Most are bottlenecked by HDD technology so it'd be hard to find an SDD that's faster than another I imagine. Probably reliability is the only real difference and for that you'd need to look for professional comparisons. Otherwise no, just aesthetics and thickness.
Intel makes the fastest PCIe SSD, Samsung makes the fastest M.2 and SATA SSD, to the best of my knowledge. The biggest difference between most of the brands, is reliability and speed. Samsung makes some of the best overall SSDs but past their 250gb they carry the price tag to go along with that.
Only brand you should really avoid is OCZ, highest failure rates of any brand.
4 usb on the top/front instead of 2
One of my biggest problems with the R5 solved
Why are 2 of them USB 2.0? Isnt 3.0 (and 3.1) backwards compatible?
Worthless with out the floating kit in an aquarium.
Nah, it looks pretty great either way.
>not immersing in a mineral oil case after painting to look like a shipwreck
And how do you expect the fish to swim in mineral oil?
the mineral oil tank is in a larger tank obviously, ever heard of water cooling???

Silence is a benefit regardless of workload.
Picked this up last week to transfer my main machine's guts to, only to find that I couldn't do it because of the way it was assembled. Feelsbadman
On the bright side, I guess I can stop using a 9 year old case for my secondary machine.
Keep your server in a different room.
Forgot the damn picture
I have a few regrets but i ended up doing this and it is too late now.

I'm planning on building mitx Ryzen 5 rig in near future, what's the best looking mitx case?
budget? size? slim? boxy?
The amount of cases with windows in this thread proves Sup Forums is filled with children and manchildren
150max
Should be just enough to fit full sized GPU in it.
nice observation you thick fuck, glad you could join the rest of us.
202 bundled with 450w psu
newegg.com
or, if you want to stuff a 240mm rad into an itx case you can get this.

node 202 does look pretty dope.
Well I'm glad of it user, I've found not all devices are detected on USB 3.0.
Having 2.0 and 3.0 is in the chipset standards at the moment so I assume there is a reason for it?
>that face
>that lisp
Sup Forums makes a whole lot more sense now.
>implying everyone who gets a case with a window gives a fuck about the window

Whats up senpai.
