I still run across floppies that have files in need of recovering. Also, some old systems only have floppies for currently available storage. Narrow SCSI is not easy to find, but floppies are easy enough to find.
Some old scientific equipment that still works fine outputs data onto floppy disks. Oscilloscopes and stuff.
Some looms still use floppy disks to store intricate patterns on their fabrics digitally.
Hell they even keep punch cards as backups in case of floppy disk failure
