Which Ubuntu flavour Sup Forums and why?
Arch because you actually learn how Linux works
>time sink
Ubuntu-Mate or Kubuntu since I prefer their interfaces
HAHAHAHA FUCK OFF TECH ILLITERATE IDIOT YOU MIGHT AS WELL INSTALL WINDOWS OR MAC ARCH IS THE FUTURE OF COMPUTING
Xubuntu.
Unity: shit
Gnome 3: shit
KDE: shit
This. All we need is optional Wayland now to bring down screen-tearing.
...
Ubuntu GNOME, it's the best of what we have.
No-buntu b/c i can into GNU/LINUX
Antergos.
no jewbuntu
bc BOTNET
Lubuntu for the win.

install gentoo
I second Xubuntu.
XFCE does exactly what you need a GUI to do, without all the extraneous flashy crap of Gnome, Unity, and (shudder) KDE.
Also, has better default apps than base Ubuntu.
>wants to be edgy arch user
>not enough patience to actually install arch
Unity. Anything else is inferior to forks.
>Lite or Mint+Xfce > xubuntu
>LXLE > lubuntu
>KDE Neon >Kubuntu
>pile of shit > Ubuntu MATE
>kubuntu
Use KDE Neon instead.
Fedora Rawhide /thread.
Ubuntu -bloated botnet with awful DE.
why? ubuntu has existed for years
*kubuntu
I like Ubuntu mate and lubuntu.
God Tier: Ubuntu MATE
Great Tier: Xubuntu
Mediocre Tier: Unity
Buggy Mess Tier: Ubuntu GNOME, Kubuntu
Haven't tried Lubuntu yet.

What's the point of using Ubuntu if Debian Unstable exists?
I don't use Debian For Brainlets
MATE because its simply the best
Xubuntu is the nicest.
Ububtu actually has packages. Debian dumps way too many manhours on Code of Conduct SJW circlejerks to fill their repos.
Kubuntu is garbage and isn't even run by the official Ubuntu team anymore, it got spun off to Blue Systems a few years ago.
This. Fast and easy, all you need
Can second this
xubuntu or mate
gnome is a tablet, kubuntu is awful
Lubuntu. All the justwerks of Ubuntu without the bloat and visual bullshit, plenty customizable, and the small ISO size betrays the vast hardware support. Lubuntu is the shit on my $1,000 gaming laptop, my old desktop, and my $30 chinkpad.
Zorin OS with Gnome 2
ubuntu with cinnamon 3, because cinnamon 3 is the comfiest de
>learn how Linux works
No, you learn mkfs, fstab, and few shitty distro specific package management tools. What kind of retard actually believes this means learning linux?
This except I would switch Unity and Xubuntu.
HAHAHAHA FUCK YOU IM A LINUX SYS ADMIN AND I WROTE ON MY CV I USED ARCH FOR 10 YEARS AND THEY HIRED ME INSTANTLY
Xubuntu for a lower-power machine, KDE Neon for non-toasters.
Ubuntu GNOME is alright too I guess.
Learning linux is retarded anyways, learning to administer a single user computer means nothing to actually administering a multi-user system.
Although familiarity with grep/awk/perl, man paging, iptables, et cetera are useful.
The most useful thing is to constantly be learning new stuff.
