What are the most important languages to learn and the best order to learn them?
In my opinion:
>Python
>LISP
>C
>Haskell

Java
C#
Python
JavaScript
C++

this

>LISP
>Haskell

Whoever told you this is not your friend. If you ever want to buy groceries or pay rent you should learn java, c#, javascript, and sql

>C
>Assembly
>Shell scripting
>Git
>Autotools, binutils, make

Whos is this gun gal?

>C++ (basic)
>python
>javascript

That's wageslave thinking.

I learned them in this order

C, also Git and enough Bash to get around
Java
JavaScript
PHP and SQL
Python
C#

I also learned VB NET at some point but have no recollection doing so

What do you recommend for a living, then?

Starting a business

That sounds like something a NEET would say.

>t. neet

10/10 would impregnate

Python -> Javascript -> C/ASM -> C++ -> Java

Javascript so they whet their appetite
Elixir
Go
C

x86 Assembly
C
C++
HTML/CSS
SQL

>Javascript -> C/ASM

Ouch. That's gonna be quite an adjustment.

t. Pajeet

obviously Brainfuck.
I would have said that 10 years ago. Not in 2017.

Right now I have to say C, Visual Basic (for quick, dirty tasks that don't need much performance) and Assembly. Assembly obviously is a weird choice but I find it really gives a true understanding of what you're actually typing (and what the computer is seeing when you compile).

Poppy.

You would have said that 30 years ago. Not in 2017.

>Assembly
>gives a true understanding of what you're actually typing
This.
C and Assembly together will really help when it comes to optimization.

>Lisp
>Haskell
Lol Irrelevant much

In reality I would say
Java
C
Javascript
maybe C#/C++

>asm
>c
>python
>Pajeet
>JavaScript

Python - general purpose, easy to get started, comfy to write and good design
Javascript - if you plan to go into web. python experience will help you spot all the bullShit of js/node land and not fall for it
C/ASM - to speed up your Python and get basic understanding of compiled langs, PCs, etc. gotta start somewhere, minimalist lang
C++ - good balance of speed/productivity, previous C exp helps you spot bullshit of C++
Java - might as well add VM lang, android is growing, learn last so your brains don't rot, also fuck microsoft

i believe this ones cover like 98% of the market

>look her up
>find her youtube account
>pic very related

>Racket
>CLOS, MOP, and the unhygienic macros of Common Lisp
>Prolog
>Datalog
>Haskell
>Forth

>Lol Irrelevant much
ROTFL ignorant monkey much.

HolyC is the only language you need.

What? She doesn't do commercials.

which BLACKED video is she from?

>Java
Because it's everywhere and you'd better get used to it.

start with some high level shit -VB,C#,python,etc.

continue with C, for cancer
might as well try assembly

then use whatever u want

Poppy is pure! Pure!

>not perl

Sup Forums is dead.

Her YouTube videos are literally designed to get her attention so people buy her music.

Literally came here to post this.

perl's pretty dead, about any dynamic scripting language can handle its problem domain. Ruby is very perl-derivative.

I hate this underage looking bitch

Python or JavaScript over visual poo

Its all a meta critic of pop culture

>ctr+f COBOL
>phrase not found

That gun was for charlotte

It's good to understand the cost of operations in High-level languages.
But in many cases, your compiler is smarter than you, and there isn't really a way to guarantee a 1:1 mapping of high-level code to assembly (unless you are a VOP wizard with SBCL (pvk.ca/Blog/2014/08/16/how-to-define-new-intrinsics-in-sbcl/))

Also;

inb4 the browser is the new metal, and javascript is the new machine language

HTML
CSS
Javascript
NodeJS
Electron
Typescript

Does anyone know what kind of bullet that is?
Here's a closeup of it.

I'm curious to know if anyone else does.

I added the blue color to change the image enough so you can't cheat and use Google Images to find it.

It was actually for Mars Argo

snap cap, aka paralyzer

T. Virgin

you cant impreg men

9mm ball ammo

COBOL

I learned in this order:
Java
C
C#
Python
VB
javascript

Patrician.

> Lua
> C
> Assembly

>I also learned VB NET at some point but have no recollection doing so
kek what

Doesn't even look like a man desu.

You're closet fags m8s. Admit it

She looks like nathan fielder in drag

Preach.

C, Git, and Bash
then Java if you got buttraped by pointers and recursion
or C++ if you didn't pathetically fail

Python for scripting

Javascript for web app bullshit

thats a dummy bullet

>Bash is a Language

And next he's going to tell us that MTF are actually women!

Java OR C#
Python
JavaScript
C++

If you are industry focused:
Javascript
Java
C++

Nevertheless, my heart is with Python and its scipy libraries.

her music is a joke. The entire thing is an art project, look at the lyrics of her music and the music vids. Tons of illuminati/satanic/corporate imagery. its making fun of advertising.

>mfw found a .c script that exploits dirty cow on a server 2 days ago.
>uname -rv
>kernel was updated
>nice but owner still wanted to do a full checkup

Couldn't find any traces of escalation but at least the script was useless on that server.

But truth be told most of the malicious scripts you see on a day to day bases are written in php/perl/js as skiddies are using those compromised autodefacers.

English

That's it.

Assembly, C/C++, Python, Bash, Sh. You may want to include one functional language to this stack.

>The entire thing is an art project,
agree with this but
>her music is a joke
she's not bat at music at all
