i had a completely functional mac classic. you could create small text files. you could make small monochrome pictures. if you had a laser writer, you could've connected that and printed out your small text file.
that was all. completely functional computers from twenty years ago don't mean much today.

It was a single user GUI-only system with either a singletasking or cooperative multitasking kernel, depending on which version of Mac OS was installed. They had absolutely nothing in common with Unix.
