bunsen labs is still a thing though
>tfw still use a few of those keybinds
I loved everything about crunchbang except for its use of the tint2 system tray. That could be replaced with lxpanel or nothing though, so it didn't bother me that much.
who cares
The openbox keybinds from #! were pretty good indeed. Are the config files available somewhere or do I have to download the distro to copy them?
Resurrecting it using Void as a base for example shouldn't be very complicated, I'm tempted to try it.
install archbang
>open source software is dead
user, why didn't you contribute and save it?
>i don't know how to install openbox and tint2 myself on debian
No it's not dude. Check crunchbang.org.
#! was my first Linux distro, Sup Forums was hyping it hard in...fuck 09 I think. I jumped on, loved the minimalist look, but being my first Linux I had ZERO idea how to configure wifi so I was using my laptop permanently connected with an Ethernet cable lel
Arch is a joke distro made to teach schoolkids CLI. Crunchbang was based on Debian.
I never understood why people don't focus more on the hotkeys.
It is the first thing new users have to learn.
On windows there wasn't many hotkeys, so you learned them rather fast, I still use super+e for file manager because it is hardwired at this point.
The unity solution is also very good, but a lot of distros does not provide this for some reason.
Linux didn't really support many wifi cards in 09. You were sometimes lucky to get ethernet working out of the box, even on shit like ubuntu 8.
CrunchEEE was the shizzz!!!
I would still be on this distribution of it was still around
You can just pick any debian-based distro of your choice and use bunsenlabs.org
There is even netinstall script for lazy debian users - github.com
lol you're fast
Install Bunsenlabs
I feel your pain mate, RIP in peace.
it is sad crunchbang was only usable distro for me I still run it on my thinkpad
