AMD drivers are garbage. The hardware is fine. Just like Android phones. The hardware is good, software is awful.

You're spending $270 for GTX 1060. That's not good money.
The RX470, roughly 10-15% weaker is going for around $100 or less. And 480 8GB goes for sub $200 easily. Which is roughly equal in performance.

my understanding is that you generally want the psu to be rated for a good bit more than what you expect to draw, also, I'm allowing room for future upgrades
