Whats the worst programming language in existence?

...

Php

html

javascript

OP

assembly

What language is that?

C

>html
>programming language

choose none

Java.

I can't explain it, but I get physically ill looking at Java code.

>language
>torture

Choose one

>have electronics laboratory exercise tommorow using labview
>see this thread
i haven't a clue how to use this

It makes me an abstract sick factory kind of sick

Obvious troll is obvious.

MUMPS is some good stuff

Never really used it. But from what I have seen, it is one of those visual programming languages. So everything is connected with lines and stuff.

define 'worst' OP

If worst means least efficient, then maybe white space

most bad

Malbolge

>There are no variables
>there is no zoom function
>the compiler cost an extra 2000$
>ui creation looks older than windows 2000
>its all raster graphics
>converting date/time to timastamp randomly adds hours
>crashes randomly

Oh and did i forgot to mention its a "dataflow language"

Faggot language

So lisp?

That's not a programming language per se, it's just C with a bolted on graphical blocks interface on top.
It's shit.

Apparently its actually a seperate language.

I really don't get why universities haven't switched to using Simulink, it does everything Labview does but better, except I suppose hardware integration

COBOL

Is this a new abbreviation for Rust?

>There are no variables
Wires are the values. It's a dataflow language.
Also, it's a pretty smart move because it literally can mitigate data races.

>there is no zoom function
Just create more SubVIs

>the compiler cost an extra 2000$
LabVIEW home bundle.

>ui creation looks older than windows 2000
There's a pallet with System controls and dozens on Lavag

>its all raster graphics
Yes

>converting date/time to timastamp randomly adds hours
Lol..no.

>crashes randomly
Only ancient versions.
2012 >= is pretty stable.

>2012 >= is pretty stable.
>it took them 2012 versions to make it stable
really tells you everything

>Using 2016 version
>still crashing randomly

>labview home bundle
>59,99$

>Every other programming language on the planet
>0$

Yup. This one wins every time. There is literally nothing worse. The first hello world was generated for example not written by a programmer.

touché

Wasn't it made by a genetic algorithm?

Fortran

XSLT is the worst programming language I've used that wasn't an intentional joke.

The sad part is that its intended use as a standardized template template language is something that could have really benefited the web.

It's basically a layman's version of programming.

Instead of writing code and what not, you build the system using basic command blocks and connecting wires. There are all sorts of sub operations and shit that you can do, without knowing even a line of code. It also acts as the bridge between the user and the hardware that it gets hooked up to.

Built a pid controller for a heat sink on it last semester and I don't know a single thing about code.

Why shit on LabVIEW? Do you have a couple hundred thousand of lab equipment you need to whip up some experiments on? Because that's what its for. I used it and got pretty damn good at it. Not it's not perfect but its pretty damn awesome.

C#

Well, maybe it is just the IDE, but man, it is confusing as shit.
classname class = new classname();
OOP was a mistake.

I'm sorry, but you literally have to be a retard. You don't even need to know a single thing about programming to use lv.

try labwindows/cvi, where you have to write real c code into premade functions, if you are too retarded for lv.
Summary: You won't make it in cvi.
If you won't make it in cvi, you're as far away from programming as a human being can be.
