Recently got a Focus FK-2001 for free, I'm thinking if this is good keyboard to keep

>Keycaps are getting ready for a retrobrite and top and back cover are going to done tomorrow

>Location: USA
>Preferred switch type: As Silent as I can get
>Layout: ANSI
>Form factor: 60%
>Backlight: preffered
>Previous/current keyboards: some 15$ chinkshit mushboard

Didn't mean to green text, c+v'd the template

Budget: Cheap
Location (continent at least): U.S.
Preferred switch type: Any mechanical
Layout: ANSI
Form factor: 100%
Backlight: Required, any color

who are you people who browse Sup Forums and require gaudy backlit gamer boards?

I just usually don't have too many lights on when I need to type. Also, I prefer feeling the click of the key.

This supreme artisan costs only 499$ for a raffle ticket!
Looking at it costs 199$
That'll be 698$ please

in!

what do ledshave to do with click and why do yu need lights to type if you are posting on Sup Forums

>fixed angle instead of split or variable angle
Into the trash it goes
Call me when you've got a real ergo board

unikeyboard.io/product/terminus-mini/

Anyone have any experience unikeyboards products? I really like the terminus mini 2, i thought about picking one up.

Lifelong Azerty user here; do Qwerty users really use the number keys above the letters as easily as the letters?

Yes.

I'm giving this a try, and it seems like I'd miss a lot of the time.

Do you miss a lot of the time?

Azerty here, I use my pinky to reach over to the numpad.

Works very well and quick, but the numpad really should be a little higher up for this.

1u artisan spacebar, only 1499!

wow...

My dude does the EnjoyPBT keyset come with a 5.5u spacebar?

No, 6.25, 6 and 7.

dang, I just want a 75% keyboard with those keycaps.

Winkeyless B.mini

I see many variants of this B.mini, whats a B.mini X2?

winkeyless.kr/product/b-mini-x2-pcb/

X2 is just v2 basically, better RGB underglow implementation and some other improvements. Also IIRC v1 PCBs were green, X2 are white.

winkeyless.kr/difference-between-x2-and-non-x2/

Also in case you were wondering what the difference between X2 and R X2 is

winkeyless.kr/difference-between-r-and-non-r-pcb/

Oh its a kit, will the seller sell me an assembled one? I've never soldered before.

Yes, he will do full assembly if you ask. But, it will cost even more and take quite a while. Just getting the case made and having him do all the surface mount component soldering takes about a month, switch soldering is another two weeks to a month on top of that. And I believe he has a backlog built up.

I'm trying to find a chery MX brown Leopold FC750R in Europe but it's f*cking impossible.

Any good alternative outside of duckys ? According to this board Cherry is shit now because of Gaterons. Not sure if there are decent options outside of SEA & USA.

Damn, thought that keyboard was a novelty chocolate cake. Back to the cookery page I think.

Wew, do I have any other options?

currently out of stock except for one with blues but you can check candykeys.com/ in the hope they restock soon.

Can anyone tell me why these TADA68 are so ridiculously cheap? One is about 2 bucks, another 12 bucks. I mean, they're likely counterfeits, but still, that's TOO cheap.

Help me out friends.

I need a keyboard, but am not sure about switch type, as I am new to mechanical keyboards.

Not sure. Tried out Razer keys. Didn't totally like Green, hated Orange.

Preferred, but not required. Adjustable to purple is best, if not, a locked blue is fine.
>Previous/current keyboards:
Laptops only. Scissors keys with domes. Something that feels somewhat similar is proffered.

Uh, go click on the other items, the price changes. The low price is for like a single keycap or some shit.

a lot of sellers on taobao actually put multiple items in one listing, and the selection boxes will be for different things, just look at the images ffs, the 2 dollar one is for the metal label on the back for the case, 12 dollar one is a wristrest for the tada68. get the zhongwen browser extension if you need to understand shit on taobao.

Sorry 2 dollar one is probably not the metal label I was in ausbucks, but just look at the images for the first link. Also in the selections 轴 is the chinese character for switch and it will be preceded by the colour, 茶 = brown, 红 = red, 青 = blue

What do you guys think of the pok3r keyboards? I was originally planning on purchasing a masterkeys pro S (as i dont need the numpad) and stumbled across the pok3r, Its simply beautiful imo and fits my requirements almost perfectly, is it worth the price? The only keyboards ive owned in the past have been $20 and under so this is a big jump for me

pokers are great but you'll be paying a good chunk of the money for the metal case. if you aren't big on that you could find one of the (new) poker iis which are essentially the same but in a plastic case

Are the poker ii's backlit? The RGB isnt important to me, i dont need it, but the backlight is useful for dark enviroments where my keyboard isnt infront of my monitor directly.

backlit poker iis exist yes, not sure about availability

>$52.99
thought?

Link. Now.

massdrop.com/buy/magicforce-49-key-mechanical-keyboard?mode=guest_open

Nice to see memeforce trying out new things.

Magicforce is a reputable brand, and it comes with both cherry and gaterons available. The price isn't bad either, but making a 40% that isn't fully programmable is absurd.

>40% that isn't fully programmable is absurd.
This.

user's I need your help! I am looking for a nice keyboard for programming, 60% (without arrow keys), and I'm trying to stay around $100, with some wiggle room.

>Budget
~$100

>Location
USA

>Switches
Either cherry blues or cherry browns, however if that is going to keep stuff out of my price range I would take gaterons

>Layout
ANSI

>Form Factor
60%, no arrow keys

>Backlight
No, don't care

>Keyboards:
none

rk61/Annie Pro (both have backlight and are wireless) with something like MX Browns
Maybe Plum 68 if you don't mind an electro-capacitive board instead of linear switches, I think it had backlight.

Ah yes, Tada68 too. Wonderful and cheap board. There is probably a version with Browns, but maybe there are some more silent Gateron switches, I forget right now.

Some of the layout choices are weird too. I don't think I've ever seen a 1.5u Esc key before, and 2u shifts are bloody hard to find since Minilas and Atomics are just about the only boards that use them.

How's the search for the endgame going /mkg/?

Still waiting for switches.

got my TADA68 2 days ago with Gateron Reds, very happy with it

have my kbd75, filed the plate to my zealio stabs fit properly, still waiting on my switches though

gonna know a couple hundred on keycaps on friday, 75% and after UK ISO so i get to be double cucked

>Budget
Not a huge issue just nothing over 200, I don't mind saving up.
>Location (continent at least)

>Preferred switch type
I don't have a switch testing kit so I am truly not sure - but I went to best buy I tried out some mechs to just get the feel of the switches. I like blue but I can't have that noise and I dont want tolose the feel because of a ring or dampener. What feels tactile and responsive like blue but doesn't have the same loud click. This lead me to beleiving mx clears are my best bet.
>Layout
ANSI!
>Form factor
No preference again.

Don't care

I need this keyboard to portable and programmable. I don't want something obscurely shaped and cant be morphed. When I say programmed I mean macros at the hardware level, so I can just plug and play.

Currently generic laptop keyboard, previously Dell SK8115 and Cherry G80-3000

Also I hear PS/2 is better for keyboards than USB. Are there any modern-day manufacturers still using that?

Just got a Cherry G80-3000 from a colleague at work. What do you think about it? I don't have experience with mechanical keyboards, but typing feels nice so far. I now wonder if I can do better that that or if the black switches are ((the best)) for office environments

Gentoo. Unironically.

pls help I am lost

I'm in the same situation as you and just ordered a poker II from massdrop. Not sure if I can recon men recommend it yet, but it's the right size. Also have a look at the Pok3r. They come with all kinds of switches, with and without backlight.

I'm very tempted to get this set for my poker.
aliexpress.com/item/NPKC-Customized-61-ANSI-Keyset-OEM-Profile-Thick-PBT-Keycap-set-For-Cherry-MX-Switches-Mechanical/32800877173.html

Anybody here got a poker 3 rgb? how close can you get your backlight to pure white?

Just get the poker mini from ali.
aliexpress.com/item/IKBC-POKERII-60-compact-poker2-mini-mechanical-keyboard-poker-II-cherry-mx-switch-gaming-keyboard-PBT/2043845811.html

Is this the original poker? I found a poker 3 for $119 with cherry blues, is there any reason to not get the 3 if I can afford it over the one you linked? (genuine question)

Looks good. Thanks for sharing!

The only thing to really compare it to is this.
amazon.com/Vortex-Core-40-Keycaps-Aluminium/dp/B01MS3PWS0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1490805951&sr=8-2&keywords=vortex core

Magicforce is about half the price, not as programmable (unless that's hidden in the manual, which I didn't bother opening), has keycaps with worse quality but a better profile, is a little bigger.

Vortex is much more expensive, better build quality, more programmable, has better keycaps but a worse profile, and is smaller.

I don't like the layout of either, but the Magicforce is really weird as pointed out. Also, if the point of a 40% is to be small, why does the Magicforce layout essentially add another column and only gain two keys?

The only reason to buy the Magicforce is the price, it is far cheaper than building your own.

The Vortex is not quite as programmable as I'd like, otherwise I'd buy it, even with that profile.

On originativeco they are releasing saber 68. It's basically the tada68 but comes in gatereons and mod switches

They changed the name from TADA to saber after the chinks started selling with gaterons for cheaper. I'd only pick up the """saber68""" if you want mod switches

Royal Kludge rk61. One of the top rated sellers on Ali has them with Cherry Blues. Source: I got one. Annie Pro is another alternative.

I think it's the same as the pok3r except plastic chassis instead of aluminium. Get the pok3r if you can afford it.

i was going to get a gaymen keyboard but once i stumbled across the shear sexiness of the pok3r i was in love. It seems to have a few less features than some of the gaymen boards but i think its worth it. Do you guys think its worth the 150 gbp

Good price but the layout is pretty awful

KBParadise V40

Can someone explain to me split space? This board looks sick but I honestly don't now what would you use it for

Nice one, I also have ALPS white board but I gave $25 for it. Still I'm really happy, it was a blind buy

>tfw you give your baby some love with isopropyl and a new microfiber cloth

Is this any good?

See

Any opinions on keycaps? Can't really decide between these.

Going blanks is also neat but I kinda like the backlight rice on my Anne Pro.

I did spray-paint the case black so I just need a new keycap set, also for my custom numpad.

>Cooler Master "Meme-chanical" switches

What do you guys think of the Logitech g910 Orion Spectrum?

The lack of onboard memory and its reliance on drivers for function is questionable for me (for a top-of-the-line keyboard), but the layout I feel is pretty god-tier.

Interested in building a 60% keyboard kit here, I have a nice donor keyboard full of Cherry Reds.

Does anybody offer a full format keyboard kit WITH at LEAST 4+ dedicated programmable keys? This is a must for me for any keyboard because fuck modifier keys.

How does this make you feel, vir/g/ins.

>windows key
>no end key

Fuck off

the end key is right there tho. Maybe get your eyes checked

Just change layer and you have an end key.

Just thinking about how ugly she is

I'd gladly fulfill her request.

Keyboard looks like the least-shit compact layout I've seen also.

>married
makes me feel like ntr

>not having dedicated end key

I bet you faggots don't even type

but it is dedicated tho. By default the key is end

I feel very attracted to that keyboard

If a key serves more than one function it is not a dedicated key you illiterate homunculus

Nice karambit you raging faggot

well the keyboard is programmable so it has no dedicated keys then
